  1. Sounds like fun....keep me posted. Good way to meet lots of great people....keep it fun vs serious high dollar and it makes for a reel good time.
  2. Nice job Ken. Lightning will light the rods up good, once you see a bolt its time to get outta there before you get blasted hard enough and are stuck repeating the words "slider took a s--t" similar to the movie Escanaba in da moonlight.
  3. Mikes eye flies green glow eye ghost with natural glow beads behind any glow spin doctor
  4. Nice rack o fish Don. Muskegon produces nicely.
  5. Awsome boats, snach it up. They are some of the best fishing machines out there.

  8. Sounds like you had a fun trip. Double check your leaders and knots this time of year you don't want to miss the big one! The fly bite has been great lately.
  9. Congrats!!!
  10. You can try using a scooter clip to attach your weight and run a longer lead to your flasher or spoon. This way you can take the heavy weight off before you land the fish or you'll have heavy lead spanking your boat and other eqiupment landing fish.
  11. Didn't much matter, I caught fish on 2 colors to riggers bouncing bottom. I ususally run a spread of everything and if something is consistant I will throw more in that zone.
  12. Nice job, Tom. Hopefully you get the biggins before you leave
  13. Nice job guys, congrats on the 20lb'r Jarod!
  14. We went out around 6:00 - 6:30 and usually started pulling at 9:30. We averaged about 2 fish setting lines and the majority of fish came in the last hour. This was consistant all 4 times we went out. We would of stayed later but the kids get antzy when it gets dark.
  15. One of my nets are alittle shorter thanks to my brother. He knows now to point the handle in the air after he nets but its hard to remind him in the middle of the hootin and halloring......but makes for great fun memories.
  16. Had some vacation this past week and had time to take some of the family out for some nite bite action. We had the Mikes Eye Fly bite going for the big fish including a 16lb Laker and 17lb King for my sister in-law and daughters first wire diver experience. A Mixed bag of Plugs and Spoons took the rest of the fish that were all good size. The family randomly picked fly's, spoons and plugs and it did not seem to matter much on the spoons from Silver Streaks to Pro Kings. The best water was 80-90ft. Over the coarse of the previous weekend and last weekend we did not have a problem getting some action as the sun was setting. The Kings are getting dark and ready for the runs up the rivers so get your family's out of the air conditioning and show them some great pre fall fishing.
  17. I wouldnt say they are smaller. They fit fantastic and give a great field of view. Adam Bomb.....Costa's will fix em if your fault for 12 bucks or if it's there fault for free for life... Atleaset that is what I remember reading.
  18. The marker north of south haven is the rockaway ship wreck. It use to be a white barrel. I haven't seen it in a while but its possible that its a blue barrel now. My buddy from work hit it about a month ago.
  19. I have the costa Jose 580G's and love em. The blue mirror is great but the wife complains she can't tell if I'm looking at her or not!
  20. Get in on the west michigan fishing league or mscst, its a great way to learn and somethimes get some new lures and equipment to try out from top sponsers. All you need to do is hollar on the raido you need some tips and they will respond.
