  1. You won't have to worry about the transom any more. You're going great work.
  2. I've done well with willow leaf blades but I don't always use them. I've tried chopper blades and haven't had much luck with them. I need to put willows out every time I go out.
  3. Maybe that law was enacted back in the old days of commerical fishing. There are only some many rods you can run anyway so why not set you own limit.

  9. Yes it is something to be able to share God's country with your kids. Both boys were in the blind so the youngest got to watch the whole thing unfold. It was a great weekend even if he would have came home empty handed. I love the woods in fall and now can't wait myself to get out bow hunting. It is my favorite time of year.
  10. Thanks everyone, shot him up by you Frank.

  15. Bought one this spring at Gander Mtn for $50.00 that was just the anttenna. I didn't need the mount I used the one on the boat. Works good as far as I know.
  16. Hey Ralph the temp up there on saturday was 62*-63* and it was a little riled up from the winds early in the week.
  17. According to the GPS we were going 1.2-1.5 yes we were using meat with in lines.

  19. Nice job on the gators Luke.
  20. Hit the north spot today. Went out to the deeper water first thing this morning, started slow got one lost one in the first hour decided to move in a little closer nothing doing. Made another move towards Pt AuGres just outside the nets for the last hour, got into them pretty steady but had a lot of shakers that would just spit the hook. My buddy lost a nice one at the back of the boat and we ended up with three in the box. It doesn't sound like much but at one time we would just get one line out and the next one would go. If we could have stayed a little longer we would have done much better. One of the nicer fish had eggs in her yet and they were hard kinda weird. Pinks, green wite and hot pink, and greasy chicken wing were the best colors. We used two ounce in lines 80-100 feet back. The better fishing was in 30-35 fow for us. It got pretty rough out there this afternoon. Shooting for next weekend again.
  21. Good job Luke. If I can't get any one to go Friday, I might be headed your way with the little boat.
  22. Nice job puttin' a whoppin' on the gators in a short time. Good luck with the surgery.
