Dorpped lines at 830 this morning with my girlfriend and our 3 year old daughter. Had a light south wind so we started about 2 miles sse of buoys 1 and 2 and trolled nne. It didnt take long and we were boxing nice eyes, started in 26 fow and trolled till we got to 30 fow where the bite died so we picked up lines and hit the track again, 3 passes and we had our 3 man limit of nice eyes in the box and a couple bonus perch. Heres what worked 3 oz bouncers 40 to 55 off the boards trolling at 1.3 1.4 best color was the small bladed baitfish harness in black and silver, we couldnt keep it in the water. Marked hundreds of fish and lots of bait. We only caught one 13 inch catfish and 2 small sheephead for the farm animals so i would say that most marks were walleye. Got back to dock at noon got the jet skis out and spent the rest of the day having fun, i am sore and sun burnt so i will not be on the water tomorrow.

Dropped lines this morning at 730 nw of oak point in 46 fow, picked up four nice fish in the first 20 minutes then went over an hour losing fish after fish. The bite was very light with us losing 8 straight walleye. We decided to move and ended up in 52 to 54 fow where we were marking alot of fish in the botton ten feet. Boxed 16 more fish in the next 3 hours losing as many as we caught, all fish landed came off in the net. We were happy coming in with 20 fish, all eyes were between 22 and 25 inches except one 27 and one 26. Heres what worked 3 oz bouncers 65 to 90 off the boards and 4 oz inlines at 60 back, trolling at 1.2 1.3. Good colors were blueberry muffin, uv firetiger, wonderbread, and purple reverse boxers.

Mike great job on staying on fish everyday, i was 2 miles north of buoys 1 and 2 last night and my 3 year old daughter thought it was funny to start throwing my planner boards over the side i found all but one. It is an old fashioned original yellow, left side i believe. The wind kicked up good while we were looking for it out of the sse so it may be in some of the areas you fish today or over the weekend if you happen to find please contact me on here or give me a call at 989 670 0104. I have been using the same boards since i was 12 years old and would like to have it back, thanks

Yes i would say that u may take a wave over the back with the bags out they create too much of a pull when going down into the swell. But if theres waves four foot or bigger there is no reason to troll with your big motor, just drift with the waves. A boat your size should be moving right along. We were not trolling we were drifting with a bow mount trolling motor that we kicked on every once and awhile to keep us straight. If i were u you i would find a place to hookup even a small electric trolling motor they work great. -
Went out this afternoon about 230 had some buddies catching eyes off the back of north island and hiestermann island in 12 to 15 fow inside of the slot. I didnt have time today to make it to caseville so i launched at my private boat launch north of sebewaing and ran out there. We boxed 4 nice eyes then the junkfish took over so after an hour of no eyes we made an 8 mile run to my marks north of the sparkplug in 30 to 35 fow. We managed to box 14 more walleye, three fish over 5 pounds in about 1.5 hours and went back in, ended the afternoon with 18 in the box. Same story out deep 3 oz bouncers 50 to 60 off the boards at 1.3 to 1.5, purple, pinks and firetiger were best.

Yes i have a beautiful hunting/fishing lodge for rent on saginaw bay. The location of lodge is rose island, mi which is 3 miles north of sebewaing. Lodge is 15 minutes from caseville less than 5 minutes from sebewaing and 25 minutes from bay city. It has 5 bedrooms, cable tv on a 60 inch flat screen and two lazy boys and a nice couch to watch it from. Has two full bathrooms and a full kitchen with skylights. Has front bay windows overlooking saginaw bay. It has plenty of parking for boats a two car garage and an outside grill. Also has a small bar area. The price per full week {7 days} is 600 for up to 5 guys. I will make deals for smaller groups and less days as well. The lodge has been rented most of fishing season but i have some openings, it is also availible for duck and deer hunting, and ice fishing or snowmobiling. Fished caseville this morning had lines in at 7 and were back into shore at 915 with our two man limit. We drifted in 5 to 6 foot waves bouncing from 1.0 to 2.0 with the waves. Fished nw of oak point in 40 t0 45 fow dragging meat on the bottom, 55 to 70 off the boards with 3 and 4 oz bouncers, gold and purple was the ticket. We were rewarded with some very large walleye today for our efforts our biggest went 29 inches and our smallest went 24 inches gotta love caseville. I also got a free shower this morning. No fishing tomorrow due to heavy north winds but should be back on water wednesday or thursday.

Had a great fathers day trip today with my two beautiful daughters. We fished out of caseville in between oak point and big charity island in 30 t0 42 fow. Managed to box 21 really nice eyes 7 of which were over the 25 inch mark and the rest between 20 and 24. We were back in at noon and spent the rest of the day on the beach. Heres what worked 3 oz bouncers 65 off the baords trolling at 1.2 1.3 they wanted it slow due to the much cooler water temps. All pink and purple harnesses, this was my first trip to caseville and it looks like i may be fishing there the rest of the season.

Fished friday and today 2 miles nne of buoys 1 and 2 in 30 to 34 fow . Took the girlfriend and our two daughters on an afternoon fish friday and ended up limiting out, also caught a 3 man limit this morning on same marks. Heres what worked for us 3 oz bouncers 55 t0 60 off the boards and 4 oz inlines 40 to 45 0ff the boards trolling at 1.5 to 1.7 to keep the shephead off the lines. Best harness was wonderbread and chartruese blueberry muffin right behind. Pink and white also took good number of fish, caught alot of nice eyes in the 20 to 25 inch range as well.

fished the west and north sides of the green plug Friday and today in varying water depths from 24 to 35 fow. it was slow Friday morning after the two day blow and the cold fronts but we got on a nice batch of eyes about a half mile due west of the plug.We ran 3 oz bouncers 45 to 55 off. the boards at 1.5 to 1.7 firetiger harnesses seemed to catch the most fish we ended the day with our 32 fish and the 6 year old boy on my boat caught 17 of them. today was a very different story as it was rough we made one pass over the spot boxed 9 eyes one fish 7.8 pounds and went back in

I am only fishing a couple miles down the shoreline from the mouth of the saginaw river. When the fish come out from spawning they are hungry, the fish are in there feeding on perch and minnows. I know this because they are puking them all over my boat and when we are trolling the minnows are jumping out of the water by the boat. I fish the same areas the same times of year every year. The bite has been on in the shallows since early may.

Been fishing in the slot in front of sunset bay marina in 16 to 19 fow dragging crawlers on the bottom in firetiger, pink panties and blueberry muffin boxed two 16 fish limits and one 24 fish limit, good speed was 1.2 to 1.5. The action was hot for first two days but slowed today with the high hot sun and no walleye chop we still plucked our limit but it took alot longer
