  1. Dan, you should put your location in your profile. If I had to choose one depth +- 20' it would be 80', But that's over on the other side from you.
  2. Lakeside Inn is on White Lake. The fishing out of Whitehall is very good, and it's only 12+- miles to Muskegon. The DW. is open to all ports.
  3. Did someone get hungry on that bottom one? Looks great.
  4. Big Weenie has a great product. Good luck with them.
  5. Regardless of weight, the blacks (or Blacks types) are the way to go. I have a mold (and the lead) for the fish weights, but would rather use the round (with) fin type weights. If your just getting started, get some 12# weights/ rigger balls, and Blacks releases.
  6. OMG it is true! Where going to the big dance! http://www.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22297882/34555236
  7. Of the spin doctors, a white blade with eater Green Halo, or Mountain Dew with a matching fly is very hard to beat. A green blade with cracked ice glow tape and a Pickled Sunshine fly is great for mid day. If you only want "Spindoctors" disregard this. These two setup are on my low and high divers to start every day, once the diver bite kicks in. (the rigger will have one of the above SD.) The white protroll with a Big Weenie Poofster on the low diver (set as the lowest set), and Protroll Mountain dew with a Siggs Rigs Mountain dew Pulse Fly on the high diver.
  8. Sport Craft makes a very nice boat. Congrats on the purchase. Dose it have a hard top? I really like the setup where there's two riggers off each corner, A track with 2 or 3 holders mid open section ( for 4 divers), then a tree or holders up the hard top rail. I fished on Sport Craft that had 4 riggers, and it was very hard to net fish from. This a pitcher of the Dirty Dog. It works very good.
  9. Very good stuff there Mike. Keating fishes out of Chicago, so not everything in his book applies to us. Don't get me wrong, his book is top notch (one of the best out there). Pay attention to what he says about color selection and depth. Chromes near the top, greens in the middle, and blues deep. Glows at first and last light. Start early summer with spoons, then late July through August use Flashers, flies, and some J plugs.
  10. The epoxy resin gives a lot more working time Jim. We use it for Ryans deck, and it was very nice to work with. We got it from Aero Marine products
  11. We have always done very good from south of Whitehall. The area in front of Duck Lake always seams to hold fish. Spring fish Shallow (60-70') and deeper in the summer 100-150')
  12. Welcome aboard Jim. Thanks for the introduction.
  13. This was most likely taken in Holland. We Don't get to Ludvill very often.
  14. Crestliners are great boats. I like the fact it has a windshield. You should get a bow cover for the open bow area. If you ever take a wave over the front, you will be swamped. Great all around boat. Congrats.
  15. This shot keeps recycling through my screen saver shots, and each time it dose, I think wow, it sure would be nice to be there.
  16. This one hurt today when I herd it on the radio. Tigers strong man out for the season with a torn ACL. Story here. As a forever Tiger fan, this is a big blow. At best we will move Delmon Young to Dh and try to get Yoenis Cespedes if he clears his citizenship troubles.
  17. Shannon, we generally figure that our 124 walkers set at 1.5, are running close to %50 of line out. IE 50' down at 100" out. (wire)
  18. Skip the core and put 200 yards of braid, and 200' of 32# bloodrun copper. That will get you the same depth as a full core (40" +-).
  19. Welcome to the site James. I would think a deeper Walleye boat would suit you better.
  20. I have one and love it. When fishing an area without good intel. I send it down before setting up, find the break, and target that. Some guys use them to learn where there stuff is running. I haven't tried that yet. We use the diver rods, and gps to manage our speed.
