  1. A simple overhand loop. Like this.
  2. Sweet, thanks for sharing.
  3. The first event will be May 12. Launch out of the DNR launch in Holland. Set lines at 6am, and pull them at Noon. If we get a blow day, we will not fish on may 13 (mothers Day) Small Craft advisories constitute a blow day. Meet in the overflow parking lot afterwords by the fish cleaning station. Silver Streak is going to sponsor this event with some lures for all. I should also have some prizes from Blood Run, Big Weenie, and Lakeshore Tackle this year. 1. Dirty Fish Nailer 2. Ben'den Rods 3. Gnarf (Boats n 'hos) 4. NllDeep/Undertow. 5. PLumkrazy 6. Billy Joe. 7. Joel Sanders 8. Dog House 9. Scooby Snacks 10.
  4. Thomas, thanks for posting this.
  5. Here is the skinny on our diver program. We run 4 wire divers btw. Our low divers are always set to 1.5 using a 124 walkers. They are pulling a 11" white paddle, with a Big Weenie poofster fly (36"back). In my boat, this has been the best producer by far year in, and out.
  6. After talking with a few guys, I'm thinking of making it May 12 (as scheduled), and not having a blow date on Mothers day. (no blow date at all). The event will go off as planed, with Silver Streak giving us all 2 spoons. Whoever catches the biggest fish on the lure/lures provided will get a prize from them.
  7. I did nor read the above post, so sorry if I repeat. We run 2 divers per side all summer long. We run 4 wire divers, but braid will work also. Our out divers are 107 walkers set @ 2.5 off a 10' rod, and the inside divers are 124 walkers, set @ 1 off a 8' rod. The inside divers runs about 1' down for every 2' out, and the outs, run 1' down for every 3' out.
  8. This is a great rule of thumb ^^ Like said above, use a high quality swivel with a big loop, and a cross lock. I got some duel lock snaps, and just replaced the snap part of all my BB swivels. Like this.
  9. I am thinking of switching the May 12th date to May 5, in light of the fact that May 13 is mothers day. That means a blow day on Saturday = no fun when we get home Sunday. Also with the early spring the fish are already active. I have a very busy schedule this year, and can not make the June 2nd weekend. NII Deep has agreed to run the event, but he could use a helper, or two. I would like some feedback from anyone that plans to fish with us. Silver Streak is sponsoring the first event with 2 spoons for every boat, and a prize for big fish on provided spoon. Ken.
