  1. Dave, we did really good from 90 to 100 fow starting North, and trolling South. 50-60' down. Thanks for the report.
  2. We really enjoy seeing these Jonas. Thank You.
  3. I brought the boat to work with me Thursday, and took two coworkers out for there first Salmon fishing trip that evening (working on a big house in Spring Lake/Grand Haven). Randy had never been fishing on Lake M, and Jim has not been out since the 70's. We set lines North of port in 80 fow and worked West. We picked up two fish right off the bat, then things went cold. After a dry spell, we swung around, pointed the boat S/SE, and got ready for Sizzle Time. As soon as we hit 80 fow, the poles started rocking, 2 and 3 at a time. The action stayed that way for an hour+. When we where done we had 15 fish in the cooler, and none that got off. We ran a spread of; 2 riggers set around 50-70' down 2 divers set to run just below the riggers, both with paddles and flies. 2 300' 32# Bloodrun copper, with Spoons (aprox 60' down) 2 250' 32# Bloodrun copper, with spoons (aprox 50' down) Every poll but one took fish. The smiles on these two guys faces did not leave when we left work today.

  11. Good stuff there Joe. The lake was a mess.
  12. With 3-17' open boats, and 1-14' boat in the event, lightning in the air, as well a bunch of wind, we decided to call it. We (Don, Terry, Mike and I) did go out. The lake was a mess, and the approaching storm fell apart, but it just was not safe for smaller boats. The next event will be June 2nd with a blow day of June 3rd.
  13. I will have limited time on the net Friday, but the weather as of now looks good. Before you head out Saturday am check the current conditions at the pier head to make sure they will suite your boat. Forecasted conditions of 1-3' we fish, over that no. Small Craft warning, absolutely not! Current conditions for the Holland Pier can be had here I will be at the ramp/dock buy 5am to hand out the Silver streak lures. I will leave at 5:30. If you are going to be late, call me, and I will leave you the lures. I can be reached most anytime at 616-460-4900.
