  1. Welcome aboard Ron. What ever you need, gust ask.
  2. Bump that speed up to 2.8-3.0 (sog)and the flasher/flies will take off. Have a great time on your vacation Matt.
  3. Yes you could, but You will likely have to untangle it every time the slider line hits the knot when reeling it up. As good as the fishing is now, a simple short lead and a free slider is all you need.
  4. I am really struggling to find time to do the WMFL events this year. I have been working 50-60 hours a week since December, and just have not had the time I need. If we have interest I will do the event. The The first 2 events had bad weather, and low involvement. Respond to this tread If you are want to have an event.
  5. These are the things that make this sit great. Nice job guys.
  6. Bush Lite for everyone after a trip like that Nick. Nice job buddy.
  7. Great job Dave. Get it while the getting is good.
  8. The best part to go with this crazy fishing was, The Lake Is Flat! As always, Nice work Don.
  9. Larry, your NBK, and Frozen Toad Yellow, worked great for us up in Whitehall this weekend. Both where on 300 45# coppers (runs around 80' down)
  10. The fishing is nothing short of Easy rite now. Nice job.
  11. I took my wife up to Whitehall to visit my friend Doug. Naturally we brought the boat along. After a late dinner at the Old Channel Inn, we got on the water. We set lines around 8:30 and went 4/10 by dark. Sunday am we got out to 110 fow north of port around 6:30, and had fish going instantly (love it when the fish strike while creeping out the first diver). We ran a North troll, with a spread of a 300 45# copper, 300' 32# copper (with spoons), diver with SD, fly, and rigger on each side. When we would go over a pocket of fish, the rods where firing as fast as we could get them back down. Doubles, and 2 triples where the norm. We ended the morning at 9:30 going 15/20+? with 8 steel, and 7 kings. If I had to guess at the best set up, it would be the 300' 32# bloodrun, and a DW Coyote standard size. All the fish came from 60-80' down, and in 108-120 fow, North of port. 1 small king went back to get bigger.
  12. Muskegon is a great fishing port, With plenty of launches. If we could get a nice DNR launch with a cleaning station, I would be there all the time.
  13. Mike, what direction where you going when the fish where getting off? Some times a 90 deg. turnaround will get the fish hooking up better. We will be out of Whitehall tonight and tomorrow AM.
  14. Paul, there are many free ones online. This is one of them.
  15. Great stuff there Tom. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Great stuff there JB. The riggers where Hot!
