  1. The nice thing about being ugly is; you don't need beauty sleep. Nice work on the short trip Donny.
  2. Nice way to get back in the game Eric.
  3. Leon Slicker originally worked for Chris Craft, before starting Slickcraft. He sold out to AMF, and later started Tiara. He bought the Slickraft name back from AMF when they called it quits. As far as I know there is no connection with the Chris name and Tiara. The Slicker family still runs Tiara, and the boats are still built in Holland. I have never heard any thing bad about Chris Craft boats.
  4. Sounds very cool.
  5. Boy that one looks to have some shoulders. Nice job Jimmy.
  6. Thanks for the update.
  7. Wow is the word!
  8. Thanks for the update Todd
  9. Your better off just fishing out of Holland. Fish cleaning station, and nice DNR launch, and close to the lake. The fishing is not likely to change much this week. The fish are way out in 160-240 fow, and down 100-140'. White/glow taped 11" paddles, and mirage type flies. The fish are nice sized, and quite spunky when the come up. Lakeshore outfitters can help you out if needed. There is a lot of current coming out of the south rite now. Your South troll will be much slower on the gps than the North troll.
  10. Interesting, That's what I think when I go to Muskegon. Sounds like a great time with TJ, and Mark.
  11. With all your warm water, and all of ours, we should be in for loads of lake efect snow this year. Nice job on the fish Jim.
  12. I put my Fish Hawk Td down in 125 fow. The temp only changed 5 deg. from top to 100 feet down, then started dropping. The way this week looks, that warm water just may stay there all week.
  13. Very nice Grant. What depth water where you in?
  14. Sounds like a great time, and some good eats also. Any Pictures?
  15. Welcome to the site Kelly.

  17. Or just go way out an far down.
  18. Steve and Jon jouned me this morning out of Muskegon. We set up in 85 fow and went on a NW troll. There was a lot of bait in 100+', but we could not find any Salmon. We got our first fish when we hit 220 fow. We worked that water and out to 270 fow, running paddles, and spindoctors. Had the riggers down 135-145, low divers back 250-300, Out divers back 300-400'. We ended the day going 15/20 with 13 kings 1 coho, and 1 laker. The white paddle with a Big Weenie poofster took at least 7-8 hits. A white paddle w/uv tape and poofster fly took fish also. We had 2-300 45# coppers out with Ace Hi plugs, but they never got touched. The fish are way out, and down deep. Loads of warm water, with no break in tight.
  19. Matt, fell free to call us in the am also. We are starting in 80 fow, and working west, North of port. Call name Nailer on 68.
