  1. Interesting Aaron. My old ones where tan/light brown not gray. Niel said the new motors would not work with the tan ones. Regardless the new motors are the way to go.
  2. I was up in the town of Leland (fish town)this past weekend, and there where plenty of silver kings, and coho in that little river. I would think the Muskegon would be no different.
  3. When I google it, they show it as being East of 31 quite far away from town. With the water as low as it is now, I would be cautious.
  4. If they go fast than they have new motors, but likely not. Only the black ones can get the motor upgrades. A rebuilt fast morer only cost around $50
  5. Thanks for adding this Kyle.
  6. I used to like the J&B Scotch, but after driving the porcelain school bus a few times from it, I just stick to the Barley Pop now.
  7. I pull 12# with mine, and like Ben, I have the new High speed motor. I was having some troubles this summe pulling the 12# weights from 140' down though. The motors where overheating and shutting off. Neil at walker said to shorten the length to my power supply. He also said use a 40 amp breaker/fuse.
  8. Whack em, and Stack em!
  9. Congrats Jim.
  10. Great Stuff there Brian. That water is really moving.
  11. Lighter works, or a heat gun.
  12. Every thing cost to much these days.
  13. Stick with the two riggers out the back corners. Add 2 divers per side aft of them. Then the high line holders off the rail. 4 riggers with that much off the back, and you are asking for trouble. Keep the back open for netting fish.
  14. Thanks for the update Brad
  15. Welcome Aboard guys. Better luck next time.
  16. Very nice Tony. Thanks for the update.
  17. Champ, I also had a 32# haywire let loose this year, and will likely start using Spro's for the smaller diameter coppers. When I use shrink tube, I have noticed that over time the tubbing starts ripping, and gets caught on the eyelets (mine are big eyelet poles). Do you have this same trouble? Is one shrink wrap better than another?
  18. Here are some pictures I did a few years back
  19. They are not quite as tasty as Walleye, but they sure are fun to catch. Nice job, and thanks for the update.
  20. Thanks for the update Dick, and welcome to the site.
