  1. Jim gave him the 1st option, but Jake decided to not spend the summer in South Haven.
  2. That should be a blast for you Matt. I know Jake had a lot of fun, and some really good action last year fishing out of G.H. Best of luck to you.
  3. Welcome to the site Norm. Do they even use observers there? You may want to send Jerry Ross an Email. [email protected] Link to site http://www.hoosiercohoclub.org/home.html
  4. Ice here on my lake in S.E. Kent County is still 7" thick. It is always gone by the time the sport show hits in G.R. This cold spring makes working easier.
  5. These are a few you cant go wrong with. Run the white paddle with a Big Weenie poofster down low, and the mountain dew up higher.
  6. Some of the best fisherman I know don't even use a probe. If you learn how to fish without one, you can do just as good as anyone with one. Speed and temp are important, but a proper spread is just as, or even more important. Thinking a fish will only hit at one depth, and one speed is ridiculous. I have watched fish rise 40-50' to come up to our riggers on the graph. The best investment you can make in this sport is trustworthy contacts. Get to know your fellow anglers, and share info.
  7. Dick, Welcome to the site.
  8. Louis, welcome to the site.
  9. There will be no troubles with mag (or any) divers. Well made, and very strong.
  10. I had 2 of the units (both stopped working) and when working they where great. They operate just like the Fish Hawk TD.
  11. We will be sure to stop and say Hi.
  12. Catching fish is like buying insurance, it just keeps getting more expensive each year.
  13. Does anyone do any fish out of Charlevoix? I am remodeling a house on the lake this year, and will have access to it most of the year. At some point I will bring my boat up and do some Salmon fishing. It looks like it gets deep fast up there, with points, and sharp contours.
  14. Welcome.
  15. Thanks for sharing Ed. Looks nice.
  16. Good luck up there Jess. There are some big kings up that way.
  17. Thats a nice site to see.
  18. We look forward to having you Rob.
  19. Remolding one house on Torch Lake, and another on Lake Charlevoix leaves little time to work on the boat. I need to get the shift cable fixed so it stops stalling when coming out of geer. It has been very hard working on Torch Lake and looking at open water and not being able to get out on it.
  20. It is time for sitting in a boat in the sun.
  21. Looks like a great boat Shannon
  22. Welcome aboard Chris. great to have you.
  23. Wow, that's a fat pike.
  24. Welcome aboard Matt.
