  1. Very cool Peter. Thanks for posting them.
  2. Nice Chrome there Dennis. Looks like Muskegon lake is still 51 deg?
  3. A family event (dad in law is now 90 ) brought us up to Pentwater for the weekend. My brother in law has a very nice 26.6 Pursuit sitting there calling out our names. We fished Sunday am from 9:15-11:30 am in the 150' range finishing with two nice Steel, one small King, and 1 Coho. The port rigger with the Mixed Veggies accounted for both of the Steel. Full core and a Moonshine Night Crawler got one. The other came on some no name lure? It was a nice way to complete a eventful night. At 2 am my wife says : we need to go to the hospital because her stomach hurts so bad it's worse than child birth. It ends up being a Kidney stone, OUCH! So we spend the night at Ludington Hospital from 2:15 am till 4:30 am. Thank God it was only that. Kinda of a interesting way to end the season:no:. A quick shot of My brother in law Bruce and I.
  4. Very nice way to end the year Eric! Good luck next year.
  5. Nice shooting there Adan. Also very nice pics.
  6. I still have some of these in my box. They where on the riggers when i got them. The stackers are a pain to set. It's much easier to fix a slider.
  7. South Haven is a great little town, with plenty to offer for the whole family. Good luck with the move.
  8. Blacks, on the advice from a charter caption. The advantage they have is; You can load the rod heavy with out increasing the tension it takes to release from a fish. We used to loose 1/3 of the fish when we used pincher pads. Now we rarely loose a fish from the rigger.
  9. It's the Thornapple river here in Caledonia.
  10. And where from West Michigan. Any one remember? It was the earliest it had ever snowed an inch or more. It' been cold every scene.
  11. Great Story. Is your wife related to mine?
  12. That, I'm working on. I did sit in her and have a few beers last Saturday while she was in the barn. They tasted even better in a Tiara;)
  13. More important, if your losing fish from your riggers is, the releases. a high quality release like the Blacks type allows more tension on the rigger rod. Allowing for better hookups. I like the mono on my riggers.
  14. Every thing I've read about Volvo's where good. 300 seams low.
