  1. Could only round up one for a am fish today. John and I headed out around 6am. Started in 140 went out to 180. The first one we got was a nice 14 pound King, but all the others where small, many of witch got pulled around for some time. The Sharp East wind coupled with a steady rain, made it rather uncomfortable out there. We ran most of our stuff in the 40-60' range. Ended 4 for 7/8? There was no outstanding lure, and we could not get the wire divers/spinnies to go. John with the first king on the new (to me) boat.

  10. Thanks for sharing Jim.
  11. Nice way to start the season Nick. Is the AP. hooked up yet?
  12. If your boat still has points, it' worth the money to upgrade to solid-state electronic ignition. Napa and other like have a conversion kit.
  13. Very nice Andrew. Thanks for the update.
  14. I had some work in the Eastern end this past week, so I brought the small boat with. After talking with Yoda, and finding out how hot the fishing was at Detour, we decided to check it out. (thanks John) I brought a limited supply of Salmon gear with, but that didn't bother the feisty Atlantic's. We ran 2- 1/2 cores on boards, 2 riggers with sliders, 1 Torpedo diver, and 1-2 color on a board. I think every pole got fish, or had one on. Like Yoda, we ran the top 30 fow, with the balk of fish holding tight to the break. We ended 7 for 15+? with only one laker (went back). We fished Raber Bay for a few hours Tuesday and got two pike, and no Walleye.
  15. Welcome James. Slickcraft boats are very seaworthy and solid. Any Pictures of the boat?
  16. Becoming a Parent is one of the best moments of ones life. Enjoy every moment, blink your eye and there all grown up. Congrats to both of you.
  17. Good looking fish there Jay
  18. I have some work to do at my aunts resort on Raber Bay. When that's done I have some friends staying at his dads cottage on Drummond. I will have the 17' See Nymph with me. It dose have 2 riggers and rod holders for divers. I may try and give you a call. We don't have defined plans yet. A buddy wants to tag along, and the weather looks like a wash out Thursday. Whats the best way to get you John?
