  1. Don't sell yourself sort Dirk. This is good advice,
  2. I noticed the same thing Mike did. Plastic will break. I have had two different plastic holders break when fish hit. Luckily both times I was next to the rod. The big Jon holders are IMO the best bang for the buck. You will not be disapointed.
  3. Chris, that sounds like a great weekend of fishing. Welcome to the posting part, and thanks.
  4. My wife is not a fan of getting up out of a warm bed just to sit in a cold boat either. You did well for such a late start.
  5. Nice job Robert. It looks like it will be a good year for you guys North this year. I have not herd of any 18 pound fish show up here yet. Nice job.
  6. Nice report Mark. Nice to fish with all three generations.
  7. Thanks Jim. It seams the lake is loaded with shakers this year.
  8. It sounds like this was there but not enforced. I bet Genny saw just one more way to get more revenue.
  9. That's a very good June night of fishing Andy.
  10. Jim, use you shorter rod for the inside diver, and use a mag sized diver set at 1, or 1.5. Longer rod for the out diver (I still like the mag here also)set at 2.5 or 3. My two diver rods are located 14" apart from each other. Run the out diver back at least as far (or farther) as the inside diver. Tilt the inside diver holder down farther than the high diver. Here is a shot of my diver holders. (Click on it to make it bigger) Are you tangling with the Rigger? or you other diver? You may be tangling as there going out? It's best to deploy a diver at a slower rate than an open bail. Many guys lower there divers by loosing the drag, and letting it creep back. The only time I had troubles with the two divers tangling was when the flees where heavy, and they loaded up on the braid, and pushed it back into the wire.
  11. What size boat are you using? I always thought it was fun fishing out of small boats and having the big kings pull the boat around a bit.
  12. That bay is just unbelievable. Nice work again.
  13. Cool water and warm air make for some great color. Taken May 29-2010 Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  14. Thanks for the update Jimbo, and Welcome to the site.
  15. Nice read Ryan. Good luck this year, and we look forward to how you did in the early June fishery.
  16. Sounds like a great time. Thanks for the update Nels, And Welcome to the site.
  17. Russ, I was thinking the same thing. I even got Keating's book back out to try and figure out how to get June fish.
