  1. I had the same troubles with hook ups getting off yesterday. Short hits?
  2. That's one heck of a crew there. Happy Fathers day Frank.
  3. She looks great Mike. Did you get rid of the Tiara 2000?
  4. It's a great looking boat Josh.
  5. We set up at 7:45 in 135 fow. Had a fish right off the bat on a Siggs Mountain Dew Flasher fly on the wire diver 120 back (got off:mad:) Trolled in with the waves and nothing. Headed back out, Nothing. At dawn we finely got one on the Double trouble off the center swr rigger. Later had a giant in the full core Moonshine spoon (got off:mad:) the other full core took a rip and got off:mad:. Ended just 1 for 4. All my hooks are razor sharp, so I'm not sure whats going on. Two other boats at the launch had the same luck.
  6. Jim, your a regular pro now! Nice to spend time with your son. Cool that the core is working for you.
  7. We had that one time in Muskegon. I thing it had more to do with a big temp break we where following though.
  8. There is no reason to have a 6 pound leader hooked to a 15 pound harness. The pole restriction is 3 per person also. If you do what frank says, you will get better at fishing. Frank has perfected the art of Walleye fishing. (go look at a few of his post).
  9. What Russ said. A few things to change. 1, Diver rods should be run straight out the side of your boat (or even tilted down one notch). 2, When letting the diver out don't free spool it. Run it out slow on the clicker, or better yet, by loosing the drag. Most likely your not letting the core/planed board rod out to the side far enough. When you reset the core: let it all out, let it pull tight (it helps the core to raise back up from the free fall of letting it out), clip the board on, let 100 or more feet out, then put it in the holder. A 6/7 core will only go down 25-30'. A mag diver set at 1-1.5 will dive close to %50 of line out.
  10. Welcome Big Jim. There are a few guys here that do very good out of a small boat. You should try the Bay (Saginaw) for Walleye.
  11. Thanks for the update Eric. Sounds like a not so much fun morning.
  12. If I can get them by this Saturday afternoon I'll test them that night. We plan to fish out of Port Sheldon, but could go out of Holland.
  13. Dustin, defiantly has his game face on:D Way to put him into some fish, Jarod, and Randy.
