  1. I agree with Ed here %100. Ludington is a nice town with great fishing.
  2. I had never herd of a "kamloops" trout. Interesting read Josh. Nice shot of your late dad Don.
  3. Yep 32# copper is close to the same dia. as core, and sinks faster.
  4. Can you get to the back side of the rivets? It's not that hard to rebuck/replace them, but you need to be able to get there back side. This product can be applied to the leaking areas also. Gluvit.
  5. Sweet. Merry Christmas to you also.
  6. I believe they are the same as the Okuma Magda series. They should be just fine.
  7. My Navionics chip dose not had as much detail as Adams link.
  8. Talora Wire line rods. 8'-0" is a great rod. I got mine from Franks great outdoors in Linwood. Site located here
  9. Jim, Big Weenie dose this on a bunch of there flies. Many of time last year the single was buried in the fishes mouth. These are high quality supper sharp hooks.
  10. Last year I just Emailed her the link to what I wanted This year my son Jacob got a nice flasher from Santa
  11. Very nice Mark. Good looking flasher.
  12. May you all be blessed this season.
  13. A close up of the material BW is talking about.
  14. Phil, these two setups took a bunch of fish last year. The one on the left is a Siggs Rigs Mountain Dew Pulse fly, and the other is a Poofster by Big Weenie. Two things to note here. 1. They both are sparse. 2, On the big paddles, I turn the fly to run the small way. ( this I learned from the master himself "PlumKrazy") 26" leader on the 8' pro-troll and 36" on the 11" pro-troll These two combos run off the inside and outside divers where great together.
  15. Great Tree. Welcome aboard Mike & Cynthia. we look forward to your help.
  16. I'm going to chuck a bunch of Bananas in his boat before he leaves the dock, just to make it fair.

    My SS-235

Trolling bags are run from mid/forward ship. I mounted cleats near the front of my windshield on my 20' Tiara. You run 1 off each side. Bags are worth the $80 investment. The really stabilize you boat, as well as slow you troll. The two best bags around are, Amish buggy bags, and Dick Boyajian bags. Dick Boyajian in Manistee (231) 723-0013. Dick is a local retiree who makes an excellent quality trolling bag at a very fair price.
  18. This is what I'm coming up with. May 15 June 4 July 9 Aug 13 Sept 10 The Holland big red is the dictator in August. My guess is it will be August 6th. Having a battle of the leagues on August 13 out of Grand haven is an option.
  19. Great intro Captain Ed. We look forward to you incite and knowledge. Welcome aboard!
  20. Good point Don. If your targeting fish near the bottom, you likely will snag mussels on the bottom during an inside turn.
  21. This site has there own charts for both 32# and 45# I highly recommend the supper/soft copper. Here is a different chart for 45# Your long coppers don't need quite as much backing as the shorter ones do. I would go with a min of 600' of Power Pro or like. the best reel would be a 800 series Takota.
  22. This is the best Ice laker ever.
  23. Ed, Welcome to the site.
  24. I agree %100. Welcome to the site Kraken.
