  1. 2 works. The top will also work as a holder, or like mine, a net holder.
  2. It's a 500 watt halogen on my flag pole.
  3. I tried to get a shot of the blizzard. Its not easy hand holding in a 40mph wind in the dark Three different shutter speeds.
  4. I recently got a spare probe from Steve (sjk984) Thanks Steve. My probe has a wire coming out of the top to make the connection to the coated cable. The other probe dose not have this wire. Did cannon have a system that had a tryducer on it like the Fish hawk? My guess is, this will not work on my system? Has/dose any one have any knowledge of the probe? My probe is the bottom one.
  5. It's not hi tech, but it works for me. I leave the fly attached with the line loose. Zip lock freezer bag, then into a bucket with all the others.
  6. Sounds like a great way to spend your summer. Good luck. Keep us updated.
  7. I agree with this %100 Tony, where you running other stuff down that deep at the same time? Or do you think the meat dose better down in the abis because of the sent trail?
  8. I even cleaned you up some in post processing . :0)
  9. Very nice Adam. We knew you would get on them.
  10. Jon and I spent the day going to Ohio and back to bring back some stuff. here's Johnny waving good by to Ohio. The frozen Lake E behind him.
  11. Last year with the warm water, the fish dropped to the bottom mid day. These fish would bite, but you needed to put you stuff in front of them. After that dawn bite is over, lower, and widen your spread. 2 riggers is all you need down mid day.
  12. It really depends what time of the year it is, but a easy clean 6 rod set is; two riggers, two divers, and two long lines. This was our 6 rod summer spread. Last year in the West Mi Fishing League, we where limited to 6 rods. When we set up before light we would use 2 riggers and 4 divers. As it got later in the morning, we would pull one set of divers, and put out two long lines (32# copper lines on boards). As it got later yet we some times would even pull the riggers and add 2 more long lines. Riggers with glow spoons are very productive predawn, but cores, and coppers still shine during the mid day. Divers produce all day. My 9 rod spread would be: 2- riggers, 4- divers, and 3 long lines. If you only have 2 divers, than go with: 2-riggers, 2-divers, and 4 long lines. What you use for the long lines depends on the water temp.
  13. I went and visited my boat yesterday, just for something to do:D
  14. On the warm side of Lake M, the copper was a top producer for the post dawn bite. 250', and 350' of 32# blood Run was best for us. The long lines on the boards are a must have when you want to extend the bite after the fish drop down. If you get a moment, finish filling out your profile (location). this will let every one know where you fish out of.
  15. I have never fished the bay, but watched plenty Salmon going up the bear river there in the town of Petoskey
  16. Michigan needs you John!
  17. Find a metal shop to make some brackets, and go all the way across . It looks like it would have to be raised though. Nice setting you have there.
