  1. It should be a great year. For the guys that use a different boat name v user name, please give me your boat name.

    My SS-235

It sounds like your making good progress Ben.
  5. Use what you have. Twili will work, but one of these might be nicer. I would think the roller would have less Resistance. Site location.
  6. I looks like with all the water coming down the river, that the open water fishing will be done for now. With the season closing Tuesday, no more Walleye fishing for me. It sure was great getting back out on the soft water though.
  7. The itch was getting so bad I had to do something about it. The mouth of Muskegon lake is open (all dirty now). Friday we went out in the rain and wind and landed three nice eyes. One before dark, and two after. We went back out Monday. Started around 4:30 and fished till midnight. We landed 6 eyes, and one pike. All of the fish where males. I'm sure most of the females are up the river already. Water temp was 33.8 Friday, and 36 on Monday. There where guys we could see ice fishing on the lake to the west Sorry no pics of the fish. I used the lures that CJ Baker (paints all the silver streak spoons) custom painted for me. They look and work great! With all the run off coming down the river now, it looks like no more fishing till spring
  8. Swivel bases on the two forward ones are a MUST. You need to be able to turn them sideways when coming into the dock. Nice clean boat.
  9. $600 walkers, sound like the tournament series. Either way the are good riggers. With that many helpers, it's a good investment. As dark approaches, put Moonshine spoons on every one, and wait for the fun to begin.
  10. Dale, Welcome to the site. Some good advice already. Some things to consider. 1, when will you be fishing? The rigger bite is best at first/last light 2, How many will be fishing with you? I've come to really like only 2 riggers. Both off the corners, with swivel bases. This will leave plenty of room to net fish off the back of your boat.
  11. The Humming bird on the walleye boat can do like what was said above. Plus you can chose (turn off/hide) what screen you want to appear as you scroll though them. There is about 8 different screen options, but I only use 3-4 of then,
  12. Welcome Bob. 40 pound is good. Try this. Or it's download #12 at this site.
  13. Lee, welcome to the next best thing to fishing. (talking about fishing)
  14. Nice job Jay. Great way to scratch that itch.
  15. Witch one? Thank You.
  16. I use the Pro Troll flasher with great results. Is it from the E chip? I think it's more the design of the flasher myself. The extra fin adds rotation?
  17. yes bags help a bunch. Use trolling bags instead if drift socks. I got mine from Dick Boyanjian, but others like Amish buggy bags. Dick Boyajian in Manistee at (231) 723-0013 Amish buggy bags
  18. Where did all that hair come from?
  19. Yea that^^^ 30# flouro for me.
  20. Looks nice Cary.
  21. I hope he likes fishing.
  22. Any pictures of the boat Cary?
  23. Takota 600 with 1000' of Blood Run wire on a Talora 8' roller rod. You can go cheaper, buy why? Run them just like a braid diver. It's a good idea to loosen the drag a bit after the fish hits. Franks in Linwood have the best price on the Taloras.
  24. I removed all the wood (Mahogany)from the boat and striped and refinished it with sickkens. I also made a rocket launcher to go from tree to tree.
  25. If you need help with your obsession, I think I can round a few guys up to clean up you mess
