  1. The thing is big enough, I could make a coat!
  2. I have got a coon in the barn that's as big as a dog. I put a live trap in there and hope to get her. Dose anyone in the Grand Rapids area want it?
  3. Am I the only one that finds it extremely hard to find information on there site? After 15 minutes of looking I give up. All I want is the fishing regulations for this coming year. What is the limit on Coho?
  4. Its all worth it. Especially when you can take kids along. Soon you will get to have these kind of moments.
  5. The over flow, where we have the weigh in makes the most scenes. Fresh fish?
  6. You can clip the board on just past the copper. It's nice to have a 10' pc of 30-40 pound mono there for that reason.
  7. Is there room for 15+ truck, and trailers at your house? We could have it at in the over flow parking area also.
  8. Very nice Kyle, thanks for sharing. When you fish that area, do you fish out in Lake Mi to the East, Sturgeon Bay itself, or Green bay to the west?
  9. All of my flies match the flasher. Some of my summer time favorites. These where on all the time last year. From Siggs Rigs 1,Green halo flasher/siggs super lime glow pulse fly 2,Mountain Dew flasher/Mountain Dew siggs pulse fly 1, 2, 1, 2, In the spring this one has been very good for me. 8 in. Pro-Chip Wonderbread Glow8 in. Pro-Chip/Blue Dolphin pulse fly. Put this on the lowest set A 11" paddle with a Big Weenie poofster 36" behind the flasher'
  10. Did you get the drags and power handles?
  11. Brandon, if you still having trouble finding the Walker divers, consider getting them from site sponsor Cold Water Tackle.
  12. That's great Jason. Thanks for sharing
  13. 8' lead on the diver, if you can handle it. In the spring a spoon is ok, but as the water warms, a flasher and fly will produce consistently better fish. Learn as much as you can as to where your divers are running. When the fish are deep, use the 1 or 1.5 setting. In cold water, and shallow fish, use the 3 setting. A good way to determine depth is; troll towards shore, and watch for them to hit bottom. Check the line out and do the math for depth. Divers will dive a a fairly steady rate. Say it's a 1-3 ratio. 1 down for 3 out, and you want to hit 70' down. just let out 210' of line. While this is not exact, and a diver will only go so deep before the drag pulls it back, it's a nice starting point. Unless your after spooky shallow fish, stick with the lower settings. My 124 walkers set to 1 will dive at a 1-2 rate, and my dipsey divers with mag rings set to 2.5 will dive at a 1-3 rate. When the fish are bunched up at the temp break, don't be afraid to set every thing that deep.
  14. We need to get that fixed for you. 1, What kind of lead are you running behind your diver? 2, What are you using (spoon, flasher)? 3, do you know how deep the diver is running?
  15. I'm %100 ready with the new rocket launcher installed, and all the wood refinished with Sikkens. Good catch on the crack Nick.
  16. My diver rods have a bead and bb swivel with a big duolock snap. I like the big snaps for my old hands. The bead is nice for reeling the line tight to the rod when landing a fish. Diver has a snubber and 8' of 40 pound mono, a bb swivel with a duolock. The fly has a overhand knot with a 26" or 36" length (26" for 8" flasher, 36" for 11' flasher).
  17. 26" for the 8' pro troll, and 36" for the big flashers.
  18. A drift sock will not hold up for trolling. You need to get trolling bags. If you opt for bags call Dick Boyajian in Manistee at (231) 723-0013. Dick is a local retiree who makes an excellent quality trolling bag at a very fair price, and will help determine what bag you need. Or a some guys like the Amish bags.
