  1. Like Orval said. They run under our diver rods. It,s more like 3/4 ship than mid. I mounted my cleats under where the horn is. The back of the bags run where the Tiara 2000 is. The bags run up against the boat, so netting fish is not an issue.
  2. It looks like this.
  3. Welcome Shawn.
  4. Great looking boat Cary.
  5. Ouch. Come on warmer weather.
  6. Tim, It's great to have you back. I hope all is going well. Good luck tonight.
  7. Wow, Snow and Walleye. Very nice Kyle.
  8. I sold a Honda 9.9 last year in the same condition for $850. I would think $1,200- $1,500 would not be to much? Get on Craigslist for the different boating areas and do searches.
  9. Mine is located below the cup holder by the dash board. It's about 5" up from the deck. When I got the boat it was located up high left of the galley door. It works much better down low. Try to get it as close to the water line as possible, and as close to center as you can. The Sport Pilot work well, but don't expect to troll into 2-4' waves and have it hold course. They work much better with following sees. Also Trolling bags help the rocking motion so the compass isn't working so hard.
  10. My boat did not have the side cleats, but it wasn't hard adding them. It's nice to have them anchored mid ship.
  11. Is it worth that much money if you fix it? I paid $5,500 for my 78 Tiara 2000. With a new motor, fuel injection, top notch electronics, good outdrive, riggers, poles, net, and lures. Plus it's spotless. (see it in my pics) Boats are big money pits. Some time it's better to buy one that some one else has spent a bunch on.
  12. 2@300' 45# 2@350' 32# 2@300' 32# 2@250' 32# 2@150' 32# 2-1/2 cores 4 wire diver reels. (all 1,000') 2 rigger reels. 18 total.
  13. This looks like a blast.
  14. I agree with Nick. I have 2-1,000' spools of 32# split up on 8 reels Both of the 1,000' spools I got from Blood Run had 1,100'+- on them. I' not sure if this is the norm, or I just got lucky.
  15. Sherman, are you doing the Steelhead/Walleye fishing in the deep water, or just Walleye fishing? 2 divers per side are fairly easy to run, and do help to spread the lines out. I would think if your fishing Lake Erie, the planer lines would produce better than riggers?
  16. I would just put the 2 short arms out the back corners add a track for 4 diver holders, and a three rod tree. Keep the back open for netting fish, and the fish cooler. Muncie is a long way from a port. What port do you fish?
  17. That's really cool Jeff. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Sherman, take a moment and finish filling out you profile. It helps to have your location on there. Go to "UserCP" on the top left of this page to fill it out.
  19. I believe you need an anchor and enough line to get to the bottom.
  20. It's just about Tuna Time! Welcome Mike.
  21. I think some of the retailer sell it by the foot? Call the Outdoorsman in Jenison.
  22. Alexa, Welcome to the site. This video shows how to upload and post pictures. A nice set up is to have riggers on both back corners, Diver rod holders forward of them, then some type of planer rod holder forward more yet. It's nice to keep the back of the boat open for netting fish.
  23. 19 is a great size.
