  1. Sounds like some good family fun.
  2. Your lure package might have a banana or two in it at the WMFL tourney next weekend, just to make it fair. Great gob guys.
  3. My BIL Bruce asked if we would join him Sunday to fish the PSA tournament. So, we grabbed the 32# Blood run rods, and joined him. It is a big fish only tournament. He did not fish Saturday because of the fog. Sunday we left the dock around 6:30 and set up in 70 fow. All reports from Saturday where Slow, Slow, Slow. We ran a spread of Rigger, 250' 32#, 200' 32#, 150' 32#, 1/2 core out each side of the boat. Our first fish was a spunky Steel on the 1/2 core with a Moonshine Mongolian beef The riggers produced 1 at 57 down, SS Miami Dolphin mag 200 coppers got 2 with a Moonshine Black, and glow spoon. 250' coppers/ Silver streak Blueberry muffin, pulled 3 including our big fish of 15# We also lost one on the 250' copper. We trolled from strait out to the point and back. Best fishing was in the 120' range. The fog refused to lift and let the sun in, so we had trouble getting our standard daytime spoons to go. We ended the Tournament with a 3rd place finish in the Salmon, and a 5th in the Steelhead division (out of 67 boats). Considering we only fished 1 of the 3 days, we where happy. The spread and fog. Brother Greg with the big fish
  4. They just keep a coming aboard the Sniffer. Nice job guys.
  5. All of the above. It's also easy to splice. Ther is a 3/2 depth advantage over core. You don't get the feeling of reeling in cable, like the 45# standard.
  6. Moonshine, Moonshine went twice for us last night.
  7. Nice job Nate. Welcome to the site. Are you fishing the WMFL event with us next weekend Nate?
  8. I took the boys out for an evening trip. Our fish came on; (SS= Silver Streak) 1, on SS Miami Dolphin down 47' on the rigger 2, SS Super Screw 58 down on the rigger 3, SS Mixed Veggie on the 150' Blood Run 32# copper 4, SS Blue Thunder on the 200' 32# copper. (got off) 5, SS, Yellow Tail Glow on the 150 6, Moonshine Moonshine on the 150 copper 7, SS Green Glow frog on the rigger at 40' 8, Moonshine Moonshine on the 150 copper. All fish where from 110'-160', but 150' was best. No big fish, but nice eaters.
  9. Thanks for the update Mike.
  10. We look forward to having you at the WMFL event.
  11. Great job Jacob. Welcome to the site.
  12. Spring fishing is fun when everything works.
  13. How where the size of the fish?
  14. Nice job on the conversion.
  15. Nice job Ben. Put a moonshine on every pole you have during that golden hour, and get ready! How is the boat running?
  16. Are you %100 done with High school now Matt?
  17. Not likely much. Replace it, bring the old one to West Michigan Prop, and get it rebuilt. Then switch back.
  18. Like they said 300' of 45#. 3.6-1 ratio is a tad slow, but a great reel. I have around 600' of 30# braid backer with the copper. 300 45# should hit 80-90' depending what your pulling. F/f will be on the short side and plug on the deep side.
  19. Jon, after talking with you, I'm wondering if the rear freeze plug didn't blow out and get into the flywheel?
  20. Every one that fishes the WMFL June 4th event will receive 2 Gale Force lures min. What ever is left from the 40 we get will get handed out.
