  1. Nice turkey Caznik! You'll have to add it to your 2007 catch list Gobler 1 Congrats!
  2. Dan, Nice looking Northerns!
  3. The marina I dock at got washed out by an ice jam when the river was melting. I took a ride over there the other day and it had a lot of lumber in the parking lots from trees flowing downstream, and part of the parking area was washed away. No docks in the Ashtabula River yet but they will be in by mid may. I did go hug my boat at least
  4. Hi all, Capt. Mike told me the night bite is on out of Cleveland by 72nd street. Best bite he said was from 6:30p.m.-12a.m. same area as always right offshore.
  5. Hi all, I took a ride up to the power plant after work this morning and there was no one fishing off the wall at all. Then I cruised down to southshore marina and meinkes and they don't even have the docks in yet. Us central Ohio boaters are some late starters
  6. Hi all, I heard the western basin was on fire too. The guy I got a report from fishes out of port clinton and did very good over by the reefs. He mostly takes his clients out casting weight forwards and said they caught a boat load of walleye.
  7. Never tried flies over here on Erie
  8. Bill, Awesome looking boat and great pictures too. What better way to break in a new ride is there. Nice catch of brown trout, and the boat ran great. Congrats on the new boat!

  11. Nice ride Bill! Is it ready to go? lets go fishing I'll be over in 30 minutes
  12. Hi all, I talked to a charter over by the Lake Erie Islands yesterday that was out fishing before this strong winds started blowing and he said he did well fishing the reefs vertical jigging. He came in 1 short of his limit and said that the elements have been tough, cold wet and windy. Here's a link to Ohio DNR report http://www.dnr.state.oh.us/wildlife/fishing/freport/lakeerieweekly.htm
  13. Hi all, My vote goes to stinger.
  14. Hey Caz, I went through the same thing, I had a yellow lab. His name was Spike, not a hunting dog just a great family pet. He ended up with cancer in his head and me and the wife had to play god with his life. It Sucked.. He got to the point one day he just stood up all day and would not lie down, eat or anything, and had a big tumor on his head by his right eye. This was 3 years ago, and I still think about that knuckle head I still have him as my desktop image at work..You might think this is strange but his ashes are on my mantle in the living room too.. It's not easy there part of the family.. Hang in there! Great memories will be burned into your hard drive forever. We send our sympathy to the Caz Family, Mary and Ray
  15. Hey Mike, welcome aboard! Great forum here, and i hope to get some tips on the walleye from ya this summer ).

  17. Hello Hardwork, Good to see you in here! I'm sure you'll enjoy this forum. It's great to have another lake Erie fisherman in here.
  18. This is kinda spooky, but I bought this boat. Jim passed away He kept his boat in tits condition!! The Twins II is now the Mary C II and still fishing Lake Erie. I still think of the previous owner when I'm out on the lake.. ocassionally I'll yell jimmy, instead of fish on..Woe, I know I've found my forum to hang out in for a reason. God Bless!!
  19. Shallow is good over here in central lake erie along the shoreline in the spring. 15-25 foot may thru june, thats when I run my other secret weapon. A diving body bait with no hooks and a 3 foot leader tied to the front hook ring of the lure with a stinger scorpion. very deadly..
  20. Nice lookin catch Caz!! It does look cold with the snow in the background..
  21. this is how I picture your wife..1-3 sounds fine but it's cold if you end up in the drink..Wait for a better day, the winds are high. At least over here it's been rockin and rollin..
  22. Hi all, I've been doing some investigating on this subject. First and most important is that we don't need an attorney, but it would help if the situation came up. I know this has nothing to do with fishing, but information for us all...What I've learned on the net is only my opinion, but it does cover a lot of interesting subjects. This site can save anyone that has published their name, it's kind of scary but if you type in your domain it gives you the history of your page http://sbinfocanada.about.com/gi/dyn...w.archive.org/ so the way I've read all of this stuff leading to this page, once you have a name posted (published) you are covered by any copyright or trademark laws. When you change it your covered from the date of published name being changed. I have been looking over this stuff to cover my but.. So for instance, Michigan Stinger can have a tm by their name, they are covered from 1998 till now. me Aurora Lites Tackle is covered from 2005 till now. So I can add a TM to my logo and be covered by my rights to this name. To copyright a whole website is impossible, you would have to copyright every peice of artwork on the site. But you can add a copyright with a date, like this. This is what I'm going to place on my site, copyright 2005-2007 all rights reserved. All logos and artwork used on this site are used with permission by the company's Aurora Lites Tackle LLC deals with. All other artwork has been created by Aurora Lites Tackle LLC. We all that run a website have our rights from date of being published online without an attorney. It's a jungle out online and I just thought this would be interesting for you all to see. I would like some feedback on this subject I know I'm not the only one thats been down this road...
