  1. I think you've stumbled across something there FBD. We might need 2MD's playlist!!!
  2. Launched at 5:30. Set lines down in 50' and trolled 50-60 for a couple of hours. Ended up 9-13. All good eater sized fish. Had a couple 7# and the rest 4-5#. Probably caught 6 or 7 in that 50-60 then moved out to 70-100. Had 3 hits on the green glow Tomic plug off a rigger 40 down. Caught the rest of the fish on glow spoons off 5, 7, and 10 color leadcore. 10 color was the most productive. Had one good rip on the dipsey with a fasher green fly, but soon got off. Had to leave by 10am so we didn't hang around for the elusive 10th fish. All in all a good morning on a beautiful lake!

  3. Nice job. That young fella has handled several big salmon this year! Pug for the win!
  4. I keep hearing about the sliders. Are they south of Holland?
  5. If the 350 or 400 copper goes, does anybody jump up? LOL
  6. Too bad on the big kings. It's always a toss up with the big ones. Planning on going out of PS tomorrow morning. Thanks for the report.
  7. We lost 3 plugs in one day late last year. I made up a couple of 2' leaders of 30# mono to run in front of my plugs. Doesn't seem to deter the fish from biting. Those salmon teeth are starting to show! Maybe it's coho or maybe it's the teeth.
  8. Nice! You'll be able to feed those boys for a few days. You're a fish catching machine! Pug for the win!
  9. Pug is usually right. Could be a little bumpy though. Good luck!
  10. I wanted to keep going south towards Holland, but the lightning to the south made us turn north. Then a cell popped up to our west and exploded quickly. We used to do the high seas as well. I like flat and calm too. Early morning is a unique experience with the total darkness, but evenings get late way too quickly.
  11. You're probably a little smarter than I am.
  12. Abbreviated trip this morning. We were hoping the weather man was wrong, but it turns out he was right for once. Lines down about 5:45 in 70' of water heading SW. Had 3 hits on a rigger with a green glow tomic plug. Landed one, about a 7# coho. One hit on the 7 color leadcore with a blue splatterback plug. 7# king. By 8 o'clock the radar showed a storm popping up just to our west so had to pack up early. Ended up 2 for 5 with 4 hits on riggers about 54' down. One of the hits was on a free slider. Fished from 80 to 100 for a while then moved out to 120 to no avail so we were coming back in when we had to boogie. By the time we hit Pigeon Lake the rain started pretty good. Torrential downpours on the way home. Fun fun fun!
