i forgot to mention that at one time we had 5 steelhead hooked, WOW.

all i can say is WOW , i had the chance today to fish aboard the tangled mess with capt don and a group of people. like ive said before don is a steelhead magnet , we ended the day 11 for 20 , with 7 steelhead , 1 small king., and 3 lakers that were released. here is a list of things that worked super screw mini on a 3 color org. bomber 100 back on a hi line mixed veggie mini on a 3 color a proto type reg. size streak on a 5 color a blue dolphin mini as a slider on a rigger set at 60 this is a list of thing that i can remember, and here is a pic. of all the baits that took fish this is one that im not sure of the name, it was on a full core. and a total of the box. thanks don , it was a blast!

the plan is to move up a little , im thinking 24 and glass, but still trailerable. becouse as all dogs rome , i like to fish from st. joe to ludington.

yup your write there old buddy, theres going to be a update, man it was hard doing that one, you just can't beleave all the memoreys ive had on the old dog! hey don , just becouse the dog is gone , dos not meen you lost your ride, there will always be a seat or two open on any boat i own for the crew of the sniffer. hey ken, i only took one leg of the magnet with me, the dog is going to a great guy from muskegon , he is a afganistan vet from the marine corp.,and the two young boy's he had with him kinda reminded me of myself. as far as the replacement i kinda like the hard top trophys or a hardtop islander, but i wont no till i see it and then it will be love at first site all over again! no i have not found quite what im looking for but i will, im not in a big rush. hey kevin , i can't get her back but you guy's will have to come down this way and be part of our little ice fishin gang this winter:D

can any one tell me what is going on here?

the shop in saugatuck is called lake shore out fitters. personaly i use a lot of different spoons from stinger and dream weaver ,to silver streak and moonshine, also fishlanders, nails, and prokings. i have no faverate brand, but have favorite spoons in certain brands. but streaks are a very good choise.

i here your pain jarod , and like joe stated ive had on average 1 stand stoled a year for the last 5 years , this is some of the reason that i quite deer hunting.

great job guy's, capt. don in my opinion is one of the best oct. stealhead guy's down this way.

all ive ever used is walkers , and very rarely have false releases or lost fish do to the release.

i also like mono for rigger rods , i run 15lb maxima on all my rigger rods and even use it for leaders on my cores from time to time,i use walker releases on my riggers also ive heard of useing braid for a deep rigger , but i see no need for it even with big paddles becouse ive lost very few fish doing this, but this is only my 2 cents and if braid works for you dont change , just keep catching fish.
