  1. Had a great day out of Holland this morning, even though most of our fish came from the Saugatuck to the south. I lift the dock around 5:45 this morning with Side job and the Fishinmachine on board and set up in 90 fow and went on a sw out to 110 and fish that depth most of the morning and ened the morning around 10:15 near he Douglas point going 18 for 20. The catch consisted of 2 Steel Head " one that weighed in at 18.73 LBS" 4 kings and 12 lakers , 3 that were released do to under size. Hers the pics. of thecatch and what worked. Kinda speeks for it self. and these are. Glow Ludington Mag. Blue Glow shad mag. Blue Sugar Mag. and a uv. Blue Dolphin Blue Dolphin Glow back Cato and a metalic Blue Glow Frog And the catch And the "beast" Man I wish it would have been my turn. This big dude is at the Taxidurmist as we speek. Great job Guys!

  3. Ive been working part time aboard the Tangled mess for the past 2 seasons , Capt. Don knows his stuff.
  4. Got a call last nite to go out in the morning aboard the Shock Therapy, with capt. Bill ,Capt. Don from the Tangled Mess and 2 good freinds . We left the dock around 6:45 and headed out to around the 120 range and set up a small spread for lakers. And ended the morning around noon going 16 for 20 with 15 lakers, 3 released for being under sized and 1 nice 10 lb steelhead. Well heres the pics of what worked and the catch. these are all tin can dodgers and spin and glows of differant colors the top one was on a wire diver out 275 on 1 the middle was on a rigger on bottom and the bottom one was on a wire diver out 275 on 1 mt. dew spin dr. on a 350ft of 45lb copper and this was the hot rig its a banana dodger with custom tape , a marage teaser and a marage action fly this was on a rigger on bottom. And heres Capt. Don and Capt. bill with the catch. thanks guys this was a blast.

  7. Sorry about not following up on this better. Phil is write , the one that took place in june last year was a lot of fun ,but only 3 boat shode up. The one in July in Manistee was also a lot of fun and the responce was much better. I would still like to do one or two yet this summer , im thinking weekend camping tipe thing in the northern ports between Ludington and Frank Fort." more Manistee becouse im not much for all the traffic in Ludington. So lets here some idias ,.

  11. Great job Justin. I heard the reason for this is that the dnr freezer was stolen this spring. And the city was liable for it.

  13. Well June has finaly came to Holland. I backed of the ramp around 5:30 last nite with Plumkrazy ,Adam, NO-MO-BEGGIN and his with Terisa onboard . We headed south to the prison and fish south of there and ened to nite around 10 going 6 for 7 with 2 nice lakers and 4 kings. Nothing great ,but it still beats a skunk any day. Well heres a pic of what worked , sorry no pic of the catch but I for got the camera at home. Also the speed going south was 2.9 to 3.2 and the north troll was at 2.4 to 2.6 on the gps, and the current changed 3 times in the time we were out , STRANGE STUFF.
