  1. Great job TJ., looks like lots of fun.
  2. Like Josh said, CV's and Tekotas are 2 different animals , I fish with 26 Convectors on all coppers and divers, and four magda pro 30s that are 6 years old and still preform as good as any thing else. But if I had close to 6 grand to spend to replace them all I would have Tekotas also.
  3. Welcome to the site guys.
  4. Im with you Noah, could not get a paddle to do anything, but any type of Mountain Dew spin dr, 8" or 10" with any brand green marage fly was awsome. But most of the season most of my fish came on Silver Streak spoons in Glow Grind Stone , Glow Ludington, Lemon Berry, Miami Dolphin,Super Screw and Sponge Bob, these spoons were on something from May to Oct and took every thing from a cohos in the spring to Steel Head in late Oct.
  5. I do a lot of ice fishing"3 to 6 times a week", steelhead fish on the Kalamazoo river a few time a week till we get ice. And do my part for Silver Streak at the sport shows around the state, these are a lot of fun. So if any one get to any of them this winter ,I think I will be at them all just stop in and say hi and talk fishing for a while.
  6. My father inlaw lives in the Luther area "between Cadilac and Baldwin" and said that Friday they were on lake Mitchle and a few of the other shallow spots.
  7. Im not changeing a thing buddie,it flat works!
  8. I also use the twist method on both ends and to spice in the middle, Ive used a drop of supper clue in the past to fold a fray , but never realy have any issues with fraying. And this stuff gets used 3 days a week on average from march to oct.
  9. Man , the last one of the brown is AWSOME!
  10. Ok, we fished from the marsh daily nearly to m-89 and ended up 14 for 20 plus.
  11. Did you guys have a dog in the front of your boat? I think you I seen you.
  12. The k-zoo is loaded, I boated 34 last weekend , aslo fished every stretch from yhe dam to the lake and there was plenty of fish in the entire river.
  13. Great work!
  14. Great job Ed., its great when you can get every one on the same page.
  15. Spoons were Mag. Glow Ludington this took close to 100 fish this year includeing a 19.9 lb steelhead and a 24 lb king, the other would be a Miami Dolphin in a mini size this spoon started out strong with cohos in april and ened up with steelhead in oct. They are both Silver Streaks Flashers would be Lemon Iceicle spin dr with a green marage , and a Chrome glow frog spin dr. with a picked sun shine. And as for plugs, size 4 wonder bread j-plug and a size 4 metalic supper man j-plug.
  16. Im with you Josh, I swiched this year, the only leadcore left on the boat as of write now is a pair of 3 colors and in the spring I think they will be turned into 50 coppers. Ps. I do not like dive bombs, just my oppinion.
  17. I run mainly 32lb Blood Run and this stiff is awsome, if I was to only have one length it would be a 250 ,this is about the same as a 12 color of lead. And the main reason for the 32 is that it seems to be MUCH more forgiveing. And in my oppinion, it fishes a lot nicer than the 45. Just my 2 cents.
  18. No sir, it was changed this year to go from April 1 to Oct 31.
