this is a pic of my brother inlaw that has not been trolling in close to 20 years and never gotin a limet of any thing and heavey action in late may out of sagatuck this was 9 small kings 1 laker and 3 cohosthis was all done in about an hour and a half this was a good catch for myself and heavy actoin in the same area this was 6 kings and 1 coho and a laker in 65min. but the best was when we where in ludington around the 5 of augast and ended up with 17 kings 4 stealys in 2 hours with 3 of use to bad 8 of the kings came all at once as we where trieing to pull lines at dark and all had to be released:grin:

most of my kings in april are gotin off the bottom in around 30 to 40 fow here is a pic of a 12 and 18 lb cought in st joe on good fri ps IS IT SPRING YET:grin:

im not a pro ,but this is how i do it to start i trie to keep the boat in no less than 15 fow{perferably between the sand bars} and i run big board ,i put them out aroud 75 to 100 feet and run 4 lines of both sides{75 to 140 ft off the tow cord} all with some sort of minnow bait {like a number 8 x rap}or small crank bait like a thunder stick jr.or thin fin with no weight, i also run the 2 corner riggers with small spoons like a reg stinger and a 1/2 core down the chute with a spoon, this spread has worked for me from port sheldon to st joe every spring {normaly mid march to late april} the key for my in the earlyer part is to run more natureal colar like rainbow and brown trout patterns and in april GO GOLD AND RED OR ORG. also my speed is normaly around 2.2 to 2.7 on the gps hope this helps

i have 2 cannons on the back with 2 ft arms and 2 riviaras with 6 ft arms on as down and outs and have never had a tangle but the diver rods are up close to 4 ft from them so they dont hit the cables on the down and outs

did either of you put into perspective that the eye of a fish {dependeing on speciese} has much different lite reflecting propertys than the eye of a person, and they may be able to see different shades and colers differently than we do at sertain depths

i was just wondering if anyone has been out in the last week after all the snow in allegan or vanburren countys ,becouse when i was out on emerson lake in allegan on sunday there was around 3 in. of good ice 6 in. of slush and 10 in of snow with some large blow holes and since then weve gotten nearly 2 more ft of snow {in 5 days} thinking of going on tusday after work and when it worms back up ps. im going through fishing with draws and goose season is over now:no:

i change all my rigger rods and mono divers every sping becouse i only use 15 on the riggers and 25 on the divers, its just for peace of mined

i added a pair of okama wire divers and i am looking for 2 sets of tripple rod holders ,and allso a few more core rods

ya its realy slowed down here to ,i only got 14 after i got back from goose killing this morning

not with 200 hrs. of vacatoin, by the way me and the guys got 9 more today ,did not get 12 only becouse 2 of them could not hit a decoying bird for there lifes ,or a bull in the -ss to save there own! {15 to 25 yd is not to hard}

got out to day with 5 of my hunting buddys for a little late season goose hunting and had a BLAST we had decoys set by aroud 7:30 and where done hunting with a 6 man limet of 12 geese by 10:05 looks like i will be back out the rest of the week for a little blood bath / sloughter:cool:

got back out tonite after work and got a limet again all nice gills and 3 that made the 10inch mark well now i gota wait till the weekend becouse my oldest doughter has vally ball try out all week and i hav to get here from school when shes done
