DIRTY DOG

well i took plumcrazy ,adam and my buddy crhis down to the brown bast this morning and what a blast it was, we ended the morning 31 for 36 or 37 we set up just north of the pump house in about 20 fow and started setting line as we headed in a little closer looking for about 10 fow ,as we got the 5 line in it went with a nice 8 and a half lb brown and then we could not keep the coho's off the line we ended up takeing 3 browns and 9 cohos in ,and released 19 more coho's to stay withing tounyment regs that set us in third place for the final weigh in the hot baits where a org. and gold x-rap 125 back on the board, a red black dot tadpolly 125 back on a board , a bumble bee stinger 20 back, 7 down on a rigger ,a z flasher 40 back 3 down on the other rigger, a black and silver jointed reble 150 back on a board and any thins fish you had in the box most of our fish came in 6 to 12 fow phil will have to put a pic of the catch up becouse i forgot the camra on the kichen counter thanks

well i went down to st. joe this morning with glf and fishin machine to prefish for the brown blast ,and do a little shake down run and went 10 for 11 6 coho ,2 steelhead abnd 2 browns all way south of the peirs sorry for the scetchy report but we where prefishing p.s. if you are fishing for the west side in this, pm me and i will let ya now a little more all in all it was a little slow ,we set lines at about 8:30 and piulled around 2 but it still beats goimg to work here is a pic of today catch terry:grin:

the rock piles in sagutuck are mostly over run with gobbys now and very few perch but there are still a few spot there you can find them but is mostly around sand

is the ice gone of the beach there, yet or is there a buch foating out around near the beach there is still 4 inches of snow on the ground here just wondering if i need to blow the anti freeze out of the old i/o next week or not

i got 1 steal head and a small coho off the south haven peair this morning

i here that roger ,the water temps where pushing 40 last wek realy hard ,and with 16 inches of snow last nite and yesterday i bet it went back down to the low 30s and took the fish with it for a few days

hey rich what about that little saying a ways back, LET IT SNOW you just had to say it ,now im looking at around 10 to 12 inches in the yard and i only live 2 miles from the allegan dam looks like im going to work in the morning terry

i mite be there some where ,if i do not have to work ,where supose to get 6 to 8 inches of snow tomorrow though ,and the river 2 days ago looked a little high

nice job rich, i tried to get out on great bear lake yeasterday after noon ,and walked though 8 inches of ice 20 ft from shore LUCKELY it was not that deep about 4 ft ,but i still got wet and it scared the s---t out of me ,so im DONE for the year!

no frank ,not on gills but i have tried doing it with pike and perch but just CAN NOT DEAL WITH THE TEXTURE

well me and rdfishin decided to go and get a few crappies this morning i met him at the lake around 11 and we went out to the spot that ive been fishing for the last few weeks and both took or limets be 12:30 in 15 fow about 10 ft down on the vex with yellow or purpal jigs with spikes here is a pic of the hall and i also got a pic of this DIRTY DOG out in the feild near the lake, he was sneeking up on a flock of turkeys that where near the wood line but got cought terry

got mine to first hunt in area zf

all i can say is what a great last 4 day the wife and kids where gone up north to the inlaw so i made it a plan to get out on the ice as much as possible and here how it went thursday nite after work i went to swan lk here in allegan co. and took 25 nice crappies in 30 mins all from 8.5 to 10 inches friday nite after work 25 more crappie same lk same size from 4 to 5 pm saterday afternoon after work 50 gills and 3 walleys on maple lk in van burren co. from 3 to 7 pm with a freind from work sunday morning 50 gills from 8am to 11am with my dad on maple lk. sunday afternoon 75 crapppies from 4pm to 6 pm with my dad and a freind from work the crappies where on yellow or purpal jigs with spike in 20 fow about half way down and the gills where on org. jigs with spikes in about 8 fow on the bottomthe walleys where in 10 fow on jigin raps

well i got home from work friday and seeing that the sun was out for a change i decided to get the gear and go catch dinner i fished on swan lake in allegan co. from 4 pm till 6:30 and took home 20 crappie from 8 to 9 inches the bait of choise was a dj. custom jig in taqila sunrise or purpil people eater with 2 spike on , they where in 20 fow and down around 10 to 15 on the vexlar saterday i had to work most of the day and could not get out after i got home ,family things today i went up to white lake in muskegon co. for some perch jerkin and did very well , a freind from work and myself took 100 in the 8 to 9.5 inch range in 40 fow near the spot called the post office on the west end, todays baits where demond glow jigs in size 10 with minnows , wigglers or mousie it took most of the day to get them becouse of all the small one in there {must have cought close to 300} but it was still fun terry
