I like rule B Just because it is alot easier at the weigh in. Do not to have to worrie about points system no more. Everyone will have to work a little harder to get there 5 fish. (More of a challange) It is just plain simple. (Weigh fish only) Caznik

Ok fishermen, (This Poll Is For Fishermen That Has Been In This Tournament Before Or Like To Join This Event This Year) I have been thinking about changing some of the rules for this tournament just to make things alot more simple this year and hopefully the rest of the years. I talk to Larry (Trout Tacker) about this and we decided that we would like to see what evryone had to say about this and take a vote. What I have is two new rules that we like you to all see and see what you think and like. Now if you guys just like to keep the same old rules makes sure you vote for that. We just like to keep this tournament simple and a better chance for everyone to win this tournament and have fun this year. Like someone sad in this web site. Keep it simple stupid! And I been thinking about it and agree with this great fisherman 100%. So here are the rules for 2006: Rule A: 1- Fishing starts at 5:00am till 11:00am (Must pull lines at 11:00am and get right in for weigh in) 2- Cost will be $30.00 ($20.00 for weight and $10.00 for biggest fish) 3- 6 rod limit 4- 2-4 man teams (If you have a 4 man team you must only catch a 3 man limit) 6- Weigh in 5 fish of anykind (Salmon,Cohos, Lake Trout, Steelheads, and Browns.) 7- Do not have more than 5 fish at weigh in. 8- You must know what is your big fish. I know next year I am going to make the West Michigan Fishing League rules different and more simple. Just cannot make the change this year because I allready have the rules set. Oy ya, just got done eating my dinner today and the family had good fresh bluegills. Man was they good! Even had some left over that I didn't feel like frying and ended up giving them away to my mom and dad. Well this morning I went out again at the same lake and caught 15 more bluegills. They didn't want to bite so good this morning but Sarah C and I mark alot of them. I hope next week will be ok still to go ice fishing again. Good luck fishing, Caznik:cool:

Soons the weather starts getting warm enough I allways like to get it all cleaned up and give it a good wax job. If the darn weather don't hurry up and let me get my boat out soon. I probly wil not be able to make it to the brown blast. I took everything out of it last year and have to get it all back in. Caznik:cool:

Just got back tonight with another 25 more bluegills. They are biting on spike and mousies today. Look like I will be back out again in the morning. Anyone like to join Sarah C and I give me a pm. Caznik

Thought Id get up early this morning and give the ice fishing thing a try. Sarah C went out fishing with me and we strated fishing around 7:30am. Well I just made it home and both of us caught 50 nice size bluegills. There is around 4-5'' of good ice out there. So if you want to give the ice fishing stuff a try looks like you better get out there soon because of the warm weather that is coming next week might melt the ice. well I better get going and start cleaning these fish that I braught home this morning. Looks like Sarah C and I are going out again tonight and get some more. Looks like I am going to have bluegills for dinner tomarrow..YEEE HAAA Good luck fishing, Caznik

I didnt really know at the time what I wanted to really get. I was going to just get some spoons but seen the walleye boards and I really need them. I sure wanted to go at the show but I had to lay in a tube for a half hour last night getting X-rays. Sure did suck. Rich

Ya I use that round styrofoam stuff that kids use playing in the pools or lakes. You can get it at walmart in all different colors and you will need tooth picks also to make it stay put. The stuff is about 5ft long and you can cut it to the size you need. I do the samething with my flyies to. Caznik

Mike, If you cannot find a date maybe we can work something out on one of my tournament dates together. Probly the better place to run a tournament that we all can get together and have a cook out and talk more would be at Muskegon. We can use everyone in the league and plus more if they like to join us that day to. I think everyone in the league would go with this just for one time.This will still count for the August league day tournament and I would have to keep the points for everyone. We will have to get together and make up some rules together so I can let everyone in the league know way ahead. Just think about it. Just trying to help a friend out, Rich

Mike, Don't give up your tournament just because I put on a vote over some isue on tournaments. All it was was just a posting that I had been thinking about for sometime. What you think I was going to do, stop all the big tournaments to use cut bait. Man you must think Im bigger than the pres. Caznik

Yes I better let this ? go now. I hope I didnt make anyone mad about me asking this ? about fishing with cut bait in tournaments. The cut bait ? was for big tournaments and not our league tournaments at all. I am talking about tournaments that cost boats $300.00 and more. Our little $15.00 a boats is to have fun and get together with friends. I have more ? about tournaments but will not ask no more. You all have a great time and hope we can soon all go out fishing on the big lake again soon. Rich
