Pretty cool eh............

Thanks guys, I am probly going to have to send it back to Garmin when I am all done fishing this year. Is there another unit that I should get and sell this one after I get this fixed. I hate to replace the memory battery every 3 years I have it. What is the easies and good unit I should get if I do get a new one. Also Dave do you guys sell them on your web site? Rich

Well I been having some problems with my hand held here. I punch in a wave point and it will canncell all my wave points in a week later. I called up Garmin and they told me that there is an internal battery inside the unit. So this morning I thought that I would take a peak my self. I broke the seal and looked in side and I think I found the battery but couldn't get it off. Can someone help me out by giving me a mannual so i can tell thats for sure what it is in there. Also do you know if you ever had to replace your battery inside your self and how do you get that thing out of there so I can replace it my self. Rich

Hey, Just like to say thanks Mike (GLF) for having the big fish tournament on Saturday and having the pot luck outing Saturday night. It was great food and nice to meet up with some new faces on the site. There was to much food there and I am still eating my sloppy joes probly all week long. It sure is fun just sitting around the camp site and just talking about fishing with you guys that showed up at the campground Saturday. Dv8or, Heavy action, Mike, Glf, sarah c, Dirty dog and hunt4ever and all there crewmen it was fun. Lets try it again September 9th if we can. But no beer for me, im done for awhile. Caznik

Fishing Muskegon Sorry for the late report but when I got home Sunday I was pretty tierd and had to work third shift when I got home. Well Team Caznik went out saturday morning at 4:30am and started in 65 Fow and started trolling North. Saturday we fished in 65-130 Fow and only went 2 for 4 with two nice size kings. Fishing was very slow for everyone that I know of that day. The lures that was hot for us was all moonshine lures. Took all fish 50 foot down on the riggers. No hits on full core or dipseys that day. Sunday Morning was a different story. We started fishing at 5am and started in 65 fow and went out no further than 70 fow. We went 6 for 15 and had alot of big fish on full core rods. We took a few fish on riggers at 50' and 55' down using all moonshine lures. Full cores had our bigger fish on using Mag. Yellow tail and NBK, I think this is the first time I ever had fish straighten out my hooks when we lost them. Dipseys went off to fishing 150 and 200' back using Blue bubble spinny with a Caznik glow fly. White and yellow tape with a Caznik green fly took a big king. We went as far as 8 miles north of Muskegon that day then had to start heading back due to the ruff water that was coming our way. Well good luck to all this weekend, looks like I will be going to Frankfort Friday thru Sunday this weekend. Caznik

Hello members, Well this is it, it will be our last and final event for 2006. The points leaders are very close, who will be the 2006 Lake michigan fishing champion this year. Will it be Sixshooter, Dirty Dog, or the Caznik. Team Catfishhoge is not out of it yet. All he has to do is do really good in this next event coming up Sept. 10th here at Muskegon. Teams Trout Tracker and Hunt4ever will have to do really good also to make #1. Well teams this is get getting very interresting now, so I hope that you can make this last event of the year.
