I am staying home because my arms are still sore from fighting those big fish at Frankfort. Well anyways good luck guys and have fun. Caznik

Ok League Members, I am going to close this post because it looks like the results says to stay the same. But remember guys if you ever have an idea for the league just give me a PM and I will put a poll on it to see what everyone thinks about it before I make a change. We are all in this together in everything that has to do with this fishing league. So by this poll you all can have what ever ice you like in your coolers. Thanks for taking your time and voting on this poll, Caznik
-
Its ok Brian, If someone on the league would like a rule change or something better I will allways put on a poll to see what you all think about it. I want to allways keep this league fun and not like a pro tournament. We are all in this together that has signed up. Its you guys that are in the league that kinda made up the rules. The only thing that I am mad for what you did is you didn't show up in the last event. I sure missed ya there and you are alot of fun to fish with in the league. Sure hope you will make the last one, Rich

Hello Members, Just got back home from Frankfort and was it ever a blast. First off after my wife and I and our other friends that had followed us up started the day going to the casino at the Little River and took some of there money and left. Once we happen to get at Frankfort we had dinner before we took a trip on the big lake. The place that we ate was Dinghys bar and had a very good dinner there. After that we stoped at the tackle box bait shop in Frankfort and got a fishing report. They are a great help on fishing reports and they have a great seletion of lures there to pick out. Well it was pretty good on the first night at Frankfort. The fishing was kinda slow that night but we happen to go 5 for 9 that night. There was alot of boats out there that night and herd alot of yelling on the radio over lead core. But anyways I stayed out of everyones way and still had a great time fishing there. The hot lures that night was the Blue Bubble Spin Doctor with a Blue Bubble fly on the dipsey 200' back. The second lure was the Green and Glow Spin Doctor with the Caznik Mirage Fly 200' back on the dipsey. The third hot bait that night was the Green Scally J-Plug on the full core rig. We fish in 100-130 FOW all night that day and had nothing go on our riggers. The second time out fishing at Frankfort was really HOT. My fishing buddies and I got up at 3:00am in the morning to get gas, coffee, and just make sure we was on the lake at a good time. You see Frankforts boat launch gets very buisy there and if you want to get out a certain time you better get there early. So that morning we was fishing by 4:00am that morning and was the 8th boat there. We started fishing in 80' of water and had nothing going till we happen to get out at 170' of water. Then all H#LL broke lose. We just boxed 2 fish and all of a sudden out of 8 rods that I ran. In 5 min we had all 7 rods go at the same time. I didn't really know what to do. That was the first time I had that many fish at the same time since I ever fish on lake Michigan before. Well out of that 7 rods that took off, can you beleve my crew lost them all, thats right all 7 fish. After I set up again the fish was going crazy once again and we ended up being 10 for 27 that morning. I never had that much fun before in my life out there fishing at Frankfort. we was done fishing by 7:30 in the morning. The hot baits was Spin doctors and flies, dreamweaver lures, silver streak lures and J-Plugs. Full core was very hot and had most of the big fish on the weekend. The riggers went off from 45-65 foot down. The dipseys took off to at 200' back. I want to take some pictures fishing this weekend but was way to busy catching fish and just forgot about the camera. Our biggest fish that we caught that weekend was on friday night that went 20.8 Lbs. Most of all the other fish was 10Lbs and up. Let me tell you guys something. You must try and fish Frankfort, its alot of fun and a great place to take a vacation at. After fishing that morning my buddies and I we back to the cabin at the Betsi River camp site and took a nape till the women made it back from the craft show that Frankfort has every year this week. Soons they made it back they woke us up and we went out to dinner at the Boone's Long Lake Inn at Traverse City. Let me tell you guys something, this is a very good place to eat. I had a 22oz. prime rib and that was very good. My wife ordered the perch dinner and that was very good to. The meals that you get is alot and you can never eat any desert later. So check that place out sometime if you are ever up there.www.BoonesLLI.com Well here are a few pictures that i happen to take this weekend. Our Cabin at the betsi River Campground One of my buddies on a fish Friday night Friday nights catch of the day(5 Kings) Saturdays catch of the day(9 Kings and 1 Laker) Caznik

Ok Guys, I am not going to be on for a few days. So be nice on here. All this is is a poll to see if there should be a change or not. The was no complaining at all here. The Team is a good guy and just had a thought. So I do not want to here that any captain shouldn't be on the league. You know what I do when someone happens to think of a new rule. I make it fair and let everyone vote on it. So keep it clean and I will see you Monday if not Sunday. I am going to frankfort and get some 40lb. fish. Later, Caznik
-
Hey someone think that I can win . LOL, Caznik
-
Thanks guys, This is just a thought that someone has mentioned to me today and I just wanted everyones vote. I will do this for anyone that is in the league that has an idea. This team doen't think anyone has cheated but in the rules in pro tournaments I guess they cannot have loose ice. But we are not no pros in anyways to me. Like Hunt4ever said, if you have big fish then you have big fish. Like for me in September i will have bigger fish than all you guys. Also allways feel free to say what you want on any votes. LOL, Rich
-
Ok Teams, I was told by a team that is in the fishing league that in big tournaments there is not suppose to be lose ice in coolers at the weigh in and out fishing. I know that this is no big tournament and this is only friends off the web site that just want to go out and have a great time fishing together. So I am posting this to see what you all think we should do for the next event and the future of all events for 2007. I will not give out the person that told me this, so please just vote on it and lets see what you have to say about it if you have any thought about it. So should we keep all ice bagged and block ice. Or just play it like we allways have been and just go out and have fun and enjoy fishing together. I am going to put this post up so I know who voted, so there is nobody else that is not in the league voting. I don't really care what the vote is, but its something that I do to make things fair for everyone. Rich

Look out 2007 (Caznik has a new ride for the tournaments)

caznik replied to caznik's topic in Tournaments
I am going to tell you now that there is a few rule changes that I have to let you know now before the next event. #1- You can bring in all your fish at the weigh in now if you like. But make sure if you are fishing with a crew of 4 fishermen that you only have a 3 man limt in your box. If you get caught with more in your box you will be DQ. The rule still stands that if you fish with a 4 man team that you must only catch a 3 man limit. #2- I been thinking about this after waking up today. If there is a tie for the points leaders for only 1st place. I will have to have a tie breaker for 1st place only. What I will do is, I will weigh in all your fish that who ever is tied for 1st place in the points lead only. So make sure you bring in all your fish this time at the weigh in. It is very close and this might happen this year. (3 man limit only) #3- You all know that we weigh in your big fish first. We been doing this all the time this year. There was a team at the last weigh in that he put his first fish on the scale and weighed it. Then after that he pulled out his second fish and noticed that it was bigger than his first fish weighed in. Well rules are rules and you cannot check fish at the scales. So make darn sure that you know whitch is your biggest fish before the weigh in. Also you cannot bring in your own scale from your boat and check your fish at the weighin. Check them while you are fishing and mark them before its your turn to weighin your big fish. #4- If you cannot make this event make sure you let me know before the event. If you are going to be late call me at Fishermens landing. My cell number is 1-269-908-0286. I leave the launch at 4:30am sharp. If you are late and cannot call me up. Call me or anyone eles so we all know that you made it out and you are in for sure. I will give you till 6:30am to do this. If you don't do this you will not be in the event. Event channel has allways been 72. Teams: 1- Caznik 2- Trout Tracker(W) 3- Sarah C (W) 4- Hollandpiper(W) 5- Dirty Dog(W) 6- Catfishhoge(W) 7- Sixshooter(W) 8- Oakley(W) 9- Hunt4Ever (W) 10- Karl.dykema(W) 11- 12- thefishdog(W) 13- jeepfan(W) 14- Mr.Ed(W) 15- Kcfishin(W) 16- 30pounder(W) 17- DV8oR(W) 18- Minnow(W) 19- Satisfaction_Gauranteed(W) 20- Sea-Mac(W) (W)----Has allready signed waiver form Cannot make it on the 10th of September; 1- Marrble eyes
