I have alot of people asking me who would be the best charter to take. So what I go by is fishing reports and pictures by charter fishermen. So I hope you charter fishermen forgive me now. COME ON NOW.....You tell me that they are more busy than a normal weekend fishermen that fishes on the great lakes. YA RIGHT.....I know all about charter fishing and how much time they have for free time. I have a buddy that charters at Manistee and he allways takes time to post his reports with the catch of the day just for some good results for other fishermen that like to take his charter. Just seems like charter fishermen would post more for there results. If I was going to plan on taking a charter fishing trip I would like to see some report of his fishing and lots of pictures. 2007 Battle Of The League's West Michigan Fishing League Vs. St. Joe Fishing League Date:Sunday August 12th at Fisherman's Landing(Be there at 4:30am sharp to pay your entry fee.) Blow Date:Sunday August 26th at Fisherman's Landing. Weigh In:At Fisherman's Landing. No Charter Captains Simple Rules For 2007: 1- Must pay entry fee at 4:30am(If you cannot make it and you think that you will be late than please call my cell phone) 2- All fishing events start at 5 am and must pull lines at 11am. 3- Weigh in starts at 12:30(If you get called two times at the weigh in and you are not there. You will be DQed 4- Cost is $15.00 a boat.($5.00 of it gos towards big fish) 5- All boats must only use 6 rods 6- 2-4 Man teams(If you have 4 or more fishermen in your boat as a team you can only catch a 3 MAN LIMIT) 7- Weigh in 5 fish of any kind (salmon, coho, steelheads, browns, and lakers) 8- Each fish you bring in at the weigh in is 10 points each.(Up to 5 fish) 9- Make sure when you weigh your big fish for the big fish prize money that you know what fish is your biggest.(NO CHECKING AT THE SCALES) 10- NO - CULL RULE- If you net the fish or box the fish you must keep the fish. There will be no more throwing back fish or less they are under size. If you limit out on kings you might as well go in, because you are most likley to get kings most of the time anyways. Remember your fish counts as 10 points now and it does not matter what fish you get. 11- All captains that fish any event must sign a waiver form before they fish any event. You only have to sign it one time and it will cover you for all five events. 12- Tie Breakers( For any tie breakers, this is how it will be solved. Tie for first place- First place will spit winnings with first and second place winnings and second place team will get third place winnings. Tie for second- Second place will get to split 2nd place and third place winnings. Third place team will not get anything. Third place tie- Third place will split third place winnings. ) end of story! 13- Storm safety rule- If we are all out fishing a tournament and anyone happens to see any lightning. You must report it to me Caznik on channel 72 and the tournament will be called off. If there happens to be wind warnings issued. Please report that to me also and it will be called off. All tournaments must be fished till 8am or after, for them to count. If not fished till 8am and we get called in earlier then all entry fees will go towards the next tournament. There will be no refunds or less you cannot make the next tournament. Just like to know why, I know you charter fishermen are pretty busy taking your customers out fishing to make a living. But how come I never see any fishing reports on your charter trips. I see Hitman charters and Westraights fishing reports, but no one elses. If I missed you that does do it, Im sorry I just didn't remember. But just seems like it would be good buisness to report all fishing trips with fishing reports that you have may have during your day out fishing. You don't need to put any cordinace on the postings but an idea when and where you fished with pictures. Seems like a customer that like to take a fishing charter out fishing would like to see results on the charter fishing trip to see who would be the best charter to take out. Just wondering why, Caznik

Hi members, Just thought that I'd show you my fishing rig that I use fishing on Lake Michigan. Here is my 2003 Lund called the 17' Fisherman. It has a strong 115 four stroke on it that will go 0-300mph in 60 seconds when I push my nitro botton. This boat is very nice to fish in and very nice on Lake Michigan. This is how I have my downriggers rigged on my lund. But this year I am not fishing with manual walker riggers no more, but going with two big jon electric riggers. Next year I will get two more riggers and then I will have four all together. Here is the way how I mounted the board on. I got two 9" walker risers to mount my aircraft aluminum on my boat with. If you see in the fishing stuff that is for sale. I have two 9" risers just like whats in this picture in that forum for sale if anyone like to put a board on there boat this way. Here we go, This is what I pull my fishing rigg with. Its my 2003 4X4 Chevy Silverado with a 5.3lter. This is a Quadra steer that makes it alot eaiser to back your boat up with. It can out run any Ford or Dodge on the road. When Im in a hurry I mounted a grill gaurd on my truck to bump draft any slow moving trucks out of my way so I can get to my hot spots out fishing before anyone gets there .
