Levi, I was hoping that you would answer this question because I know that you probly get out more and use alot of the core stuff. Ok so you are saying to put the core that has the most line out closest to the boat right? Because I thought maybe it would be the other way around. Also you use 15 color core, man I bet your customers really like reeling in that stuff...

Ok you are out fishing with your buddies and the line's are all set. Downrigger's rod's bent over, dipsie's ready to go, and your full core just ready to get the big rank. When a rod takes off, do you get off your butt and run right over there excited. Or do you just walk over there like its just a fish. I been fishing this way for 20 years now and I still run for the rod all excited and yelling FISH ON. But I have notice there is a few guys that just walk up to the rod when a rod takes off when fishing with me. But later on they end up running for them after I start yelling FISH ON for nothing...

Hey you pro salmon fishermen, I get asked this question alot but just don't really know what the right answer would be for the fishermen that are asking me this question. Ok, if you are running three different lead core's to the side of your boat. Whitch core should you put out first. You know there is full core, six core, three color core, and more. My guess would be full core out first than the next smaller core second. Just maybe there is other member's on this site that like to know the same question and could help them out. Who can help out, Cazzz

Let me tell you something, I run lead core at night..BUT there better not be any boats around you just in case they go to close behind you to cut you off. So don't be afraid to try it. You just have to be on the watch at all times. Trust me you will like lead core for catching fish. But let the other guy real them in... Cazzzz

Hello Member's So what was your hot fishing weapon for fishing salmon in the great lakes last year. I like to use four riggers with at least one SWR rod on my deepest rigger. I like to run two dipsie rods also and leave my dipies set at three. My first time last year I started to use full core rods also. I know it takes alot of work getting those fish in with that stuff. But I really think last year my hottest weapon was my full core. When I was fishing in my fishing league. Alot of times I was doing nothing at all with my other stuff. But my full core went off when the other was dead. Full core is my choice of my #1 weapon in 2006.

Oh ya it sure has for me. I use two 2/0 single on each fly. Have you ever used any squids. Well that is where I got the idea for use two singles on my flies. Trust me it works good, Rich

They are going to get married this year in August. Pretty cool eh. Ya if you like to know how and make flies we can get togehter and make some if you like. Ya I know what a spin doctor is. I run mine just about 12' behind the cannon ball. But most of the time they are on my dipsies. Now I have ran then next to my SWR rod (two color core) and do not do that, because everytime I have done that it was a tangled up mess.
