Yes Steve, that is where I always go bush tail hunting, but in the front of the woods. There is so may of them out there it isn't funny. I will probly go again in the morning to marrow to. Well yesterday I ate up my two bush tails that I shot Tuesday morning and they was so good that I thought I'd go back out this morning again. This morning I didn't see so many but should of had my five bush tails. That darn 410 or my 7 1/2 shot is not as good as my 22 is. Well this morning I did get two more bush tails for tomarrows dinner and shot at three others and missed them. Good luck and hope you can go bush tail hunting, Caznik

This morning when I got out of work. I thought I would set one more tree stand in the back of my woods. I found the perfect spot and set it all up. Things was going really good till I started walking back to my house. As I was walking in the woods with the sun bright in my face and eyes. All of a sudden I started hearing this funny noise. I stoped, and looked down about five yards in front of me and holy cow. My first time ever walking up onto a skunk in the woods. First I thought it was a cat, but then I seen the white racing stripe on it. I stood there for about three minute trying to think now what do I do. The tail was up and looked like it was ready to attack me. So I slowly started walking backwards and it never sprayed me at all. Man was that a close on, I was inches of stepping on it when I stoped to see what the noise was. I hope it don't ever come back there again.

Ya my boat is all packed up to and I am ready for hunting and ice fishing. But now I have to get ready for deer processing and that is alot of work. Oh well, I need the money for fishing in 2008. Caznik

Well I went out this morning after work for 30 minutes and seen alot of bush tails jumping tree to tree. My 22 is down right now, so I happen to take my 410 single shot out and man has it been along time since I havn't used a gun without a scoope. I ended up 2 for 3 and shot 5 times. Man am I a bad aim with that 410 and have to get my 22 back out in the woods again. I didn't have much time to hunt because I was pretty tierd from working all night so my plans was to get at least 2 bust tails for dinner for tomarrow. I took my bush tails home and cleaned them. While I was cleaning them in my back yard. There was about 4 more bush tails in my big tree in the yard to. They was all over this morning and had a good time out in the woods today. The Final West Mich. Fishing League Event For 2007 What a year it was fishing in the West Michigan fishing league this year. This year we had 32 teams that signed up to fish in the fishing league this year and in each tournament we had 18-24 teams that fished in each event. I really had a great time fishing with everyone one of you guys this year and it was a pretty good challenge trying to win the points chapionship this year. The total fish that was weighed in this year was 2388.4 lbs and man is that alot of fish. This year in each tournament we fished there was more bigger fish caught than any other years that I had fished this fishing league. Why heck the biggest fish that got caught this year was caught in May and usually it is caught in either August or September.
