I have one little change in the rules for playing euchre. Not every member fishes Lake Michigan because they do not own a boat and I like to see some members just come and play some cards and get to know other members. So if you are not a lake Michigan fishermen and like to play for some cash winnings that will be fine with me but you will not be in for the lure winnings. I am just going to have boat captains in on the lure winnings and thats all. The way I see it now these will be the captains that will have to bring a lure to play euchre. I use to use alot of cowbells for lakers and what would work for me the best was spin glows, peanunts, and small tadpollys allways work very good for me. Colors would allways be yellow or green and I would run them 3' behind the cannon ball. Most of the time bouncing at least two of them right on the bottom and running the other two 5' above bottom and trolling as slow as you can. good luck, Cazz

Cazniks Texas Hold 'Em Poker Night Well here ya all go poker players. I will be holding a Texas Hold 'Em poker night in Febuary if you like to show up and get to meet some members from the site. Last year was a good time but ended up being getting done way to late for the little poker players last year. This year I will start it early so we can all enjoy the fun and sit down a talk about some of last years fishing stories. Well here is the rules and time to play this game. Poker Rules 1- Cost is $20.00 2-Poker night will be 1pm on Febuary 23rd at Caznik house. 3- 16 players only- so sign up fast. 4- Small and big blinds will raise every 20 minutes. 5- You will get $1000.00 worth of poker chips 10 white chips, 10 red chips, 6 green chips, 2 blue chips, and 1 black chip. 11- The raises will start as- Small blind 10 and big blind 20. They will raise every 20 minutes. After 20 minutes they will go up 20-30, 30-40, 40-50 and so on. 12- Please bring a dish to pass for the half time show so we can take a break and eat. Also please bring your own beverage to and please controll yourself if your drink any Lake Michigan water. 13- No smoking in the Mrs. Cazniks house. I will get in trouble... 2008 Caznik's Stinger Stingray Eurchre Championship Date- Saturday January 26th Cost- $15.00 a player plus one Stinger Stingray spoon. Time- 3pm- till all done Place Held At- Caznik's house http://www.mistinger.com/index.htm Well lets try and get some of us guys around and play some cards. Hunting season will be over and big lake fishing will be soon be coming very soon again. Fishermen that will sign up can bring one friend with them if they like to, but please let me know so I can know how many will be over at my place. I will probly needs some help with tables and chairs if you have any card tables. If a player has a card table with four chairs that would help out alot, also cards to. My maximum players will be up to 40 players and no more. We will have a pot luck also, so please bring one dish to pass and please bring your own beverage. After the 5th game we will all have a 20 minute break to eat and then play five more after we eat. Rule's To Play 1- No partners (You will have a different partner at each table.) 2- Winners stay and losers will have to move. (When the two losers moves. One loser will have to draw a card and one winner will draw a card to determine who will be partners) It will go by color of cards. 3- Each table will play two times around and can count every point they can make. 4- Each player that calls a loner AND MAKES IT will get one extra point that will go in my book.(Your partner will not get that point if you call a loner, only the player that calls the loner AND MAKES IT will get that point.) The player with most loners MADE will win all the Stinger Stingray spoons. 5- Pay off will go to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. 6- Tie Breakers- If there is a tie for 1st place for all the Stinger Stingray spoons. Both players will draw one card each. The player with the highest card will be the winner. Tie breakers for 1st place for the money will go like this. 1st place will split 1st and 2nd place winnings and 3rd place winnings will go to the 2nd place winner. A tie for 2nd place will split the 2nd place and 3rd place winnings and 3rd place winner will get nothing. A tie for 3rd place will split the 3rd place winnings 7- Each team that gets EUCHRED- each player on that team will have to put 25 cents in a cup. Luck 7th place will win all EUCHRE money(Any tie for the EUCHRE money will go by the highest card drawn like the lure tie breaker. 8- Every player will play up to ten games. I sure hope that you will give this a try, just maybe you can be a winner and get some fishing stuff out of this tournament. I will give each player that signs up my address so you can find it on map quest. I been hunting and processing alot of deer. We have processed at my house at least 100 deer and I am sick of it allready... Caznik

Ya they sure do when you have that scoop zoomed right in at 150 yards. That scoop was about a 1/2" from my eye. I just forgot to put it back to 5 power before I shot. Rich

I use a 50. cal. Knight disc exstream. It will cost you around $550.00. It is the one that i am holding in my picture to. Caznik

Alot of times you can tell where you happen to shot a deer by looking at the arrow. If there is anykind of guts on the arrow that would mean that you happen to get a gut shot. If he ever shoots another deer in the guts. Most of the time you will not find it till the next day anyways. The deer will lay down and get sick then die off. They will also go about 200 yards and towards a water hole to get a drink. Now if he found it the next morning and the evening was nice a cool. Then it should be allright. But if he happen to find it late in the afternoon and it happen to be hot out all afternoon long, then I would probly not take it. But you will kind of have to be the judge yourself. I happen to gut shot a deer just last week and didnt find it till the next morning and still kept it. It was cool in the morning and all evening, so I gutted it out and took it home right away and hosed it off very good then processed it right away. If he found it the next day and it was cool at night and was not 60-70 degs all afternoon, then it should be allright. call me anytime if you like to know more about processeing. Rich
