Went out for a few hours in the mid morning and went 2-3. Both coho (6 and 10 lb) in 80-90 FOW WNW of the pier head on a west troll. 4 colors on a board with Mixed Veggies spoon. Not sure why the fish were on top but we trusted the graph and were rewarded for doing so. Cheers.

Normally fish out of SJ but spent Sat. night in New Buff to visit friends. Got a very late start on Sunday due to malfunctioning gas pumps at Oselka's....Very frustrating. Regardless...trolled NE in 80-110 FOW. Marked lakers on the bottom and alot of nice looking fish and bait balls anywhere from 40-60 down near the dunes but no takers. Tried everything in the box at speeds of 2.4 to 3 and gave up after a few hours as the flies were unbearable. Purpose of post was to let everybody know about the presence of big fish and bait in the area. Perhaps others can get them in the boat. Cheers.

I'm new to the GLF site and love it. Salmon fishing has been great the last couple of weeks but the wife is craving some perch. Any suggestions on where to go out of St. Joe...south...north....depth? Thanks to you all.
