Joelsanders That don't suprize me at all. I have a 1979 Islander with the OMC outdrive and ever time I went there for parts it was a ripoff. There are a few sites on line that are much cheaper and depending on the part, you can get it on E-Bay pretty cheap. I needed a water pump shaft and it list for about 90 bucks, got it off E-Bay for 10.00 and it was brand new. Got the shaft that splines into into it for a little over a 100 and the marina said if they could get it it would be closer to 200.

Witch marina was it?

Thanks for the heads up EdB. That is just plain BS and something needs to be done to put a stop to all the friggin nets. The least they could do is limit the number of nets and where they can be placed and make sure they are marked by lagit marker bouyies and not just a milk jug or nothing at all.

Thanks for the ride Rich, Had a great time. Nice seeing and fishing with Mike again too. It was great to get out on the water after long winter. I know what ya mean about being tired. I got home and the wife had a couple cheese burgers waiting for me, I eat one and fell asleep, woke up with the other one still on the plate, went to bed and said to heck with eatting cause it was nap time.

I like the Fly Trap. It is a Plano box(I think) full of the tubes like boomerang has. It sells for around 25 bucks I beleive. You can also pick up the tubes on e-bay pretty cheap too along with the fly trap and a bigger version for J plugs or other body baits or spoons.

One of the guys on the video mentioned they were a different type of reel but I didn't ever hear him say what kind they were. Like you, I thought rhey were just holding them upside down but after watching him crank it it's made that way.

See Rich, if you had taken the pitch fork and done it the way I showed ya you could have brought home some fish.

Any Cannon I have seen is not on a regular cable. You get the coated cable when you buy the unit and the probe sends the info up the rigger cable to the head unit. You will need to change the cable on 1 of your riggers to use the Cannon just like the Depth Raider or Sub Troll. Fish Hawk is the only one that I know of that can be hooked right on a regular rigger cable so it is handy because you can change the probe to any rigger you want but as stated the blow back will screw up the signal.
