Nice report, Thanks:) -
I am not an expert but having gone through 3 rotator cuff surgery's I can say DO and PLEASE listen to your doc/surgeon. To be totally honest it takes a full year for complete pain free recovery. Good luck with the rehab.

For whats its worth I went from a 1973 Sea Ray 20' srv 200 to a 20' Hewes Craft ProV HT and the ProV is a way better handling, ride in all sea conditions, IMO. Yes, in the right chop it can be a rougher ride but that it is totally up to the driver. For my specific needs the Hewes was the best fit, last time I'll ever need to buy a boat or my sons. I'm sure some day a repower but I'm betting that would be it.

I would go with the welded hull. Partial to Hewes Craft. Love mine.

Been doing that for years, great memories and also reorganizing when putting away. Most expensive decorated tree in town. Throw on a few old tinsel flies for extra glitter. Also really lets you compare the glow time on different lures after shutting the lights off.

Bill, another option which I really like are Salltys Balls, a fish shaped weight with less blow back that seems to draw a lot of fish off the bottom. ps. check your messenger as well for a message from Terry. -

I have a pair in 103 fow 3 miles se of Port Washington.....dive down and there yours...but I want the sub troll probe -
Lots of bites equals lots of fun! I had the magic touch today as Reid and my brother Jon struggled to keep them hooked up. Couple tears offs as well as Reid's 20lb king breaking off around the power pro dipsy, and then me proceeding to catch said fish on the dipsy. Finished the day 11-18 on an all coyote or spin doctor bite. Green flies blue flies, white spin doctors and a green coyote. riggers down 38, 54, and 62. Dipsys out 100 and 140. 7,8,and 10 colors all got fish. Worked 115-150 straight out by all the big charters, and a touch south. Speed was no less than 2.0 at the ball and anything above 2.5 GPS. SE/NW troll was favorable for us. 2 rainbows, laker, Brown, rest kings biggest ones were 12,13,17, and 20. Been a long time since I put in that much work at the cleaning station. Happy Birthday Dad

I trolled mainly 104 fow give or take 10, made one swing out to 150 and as shallow as 60. Started 6 miles south and got as far as 11.2. Had 5 solid board rods and 1 rigger. Tried multiple riggers and also dypsys. Washed so much stuff on dypsys I had to start puttin stuff away. > Ended up with a 14 for 20 ish day with 4 lost 1/2 a net away( youngster with heavy thumb). 2 natural Kings 1 coho and the rest bows with 4 in the 10>11.5 lb. range. 48 to 55 degrees on top 42 down 35ish. spoons that worked raider frozen nose, hey baby, double purple spook, msrv dancin anchovy, bloody nose & hot lips. dw SS geterdone. FF was white coyote w/ bull frog down 69(kings) stuff that didn't work, 1/2 five gallon bucket full f/f, body baits and spoons.

email sent on Okuma copper rods -
Rod past away early Sunday morning from what we believe to be a massive heart attack. He was a great friend and was the person that would do anything for another. He donated his time, boat, and fishing skills to many Child Wish outings. I personally spent the previous week with him and friends fishing walleyes on Lake Erie. I feel privileged to have spent so much time with him before this tragedy. He leaves behind a wife, son (16), and daughter (14). As some of you know, he was in the middle of replacing the transom and power in his SeaCraft. All of the parts are there and a few of us will be finishing this for his family this summer. Hopefully his son will be able to enjoy the boat in the years to come. If any of you have any further questions please feel free to PM me. Otherwise, please visit the link below for details about the service. It should be updated later this afternoon. www.hartquistfuneral.com/obituaries/Rodney-Mccormick/#!/ObitAndService I copied and pasted from another site, thought I would share here.

I pushed a 20' 73 Sea Ray with a 83 7.5 Honda mounted on the outdrive for 22 years. When the wind/waves got to much for the kicker to handle it was high time to to get off anyhow.
