  1. Welcome to the site T290. Enjoy your stay.
  2. That is an awesome video. Were you able to watch the fish strike live, I noticed you were jigging the shiner a bit.
  3. Have you tried any of our site sponsors yet?
  4. Ice Fishing Here is my perspective This is 1 aspect of fishing I have never really understood. 1/ Load truck with fishing gear, food, snowmobile and beer. 2/ Stop for more beer. 3/ Drive, walk, sled to middle of lake. 4/ Enter Shanty[if you are lucky enuff to have 1]. 5/ Start heater, auger hole(s), drink beer. * I really could never understand wanting to drill a hole in the ice. My mind says this is a bad idea. But for those of you who enjoy ice fishing. Good Luck

I have never tried adding the sugar or jello, gonna give that 1 a try. Thanks for the tip. Any other tips out there. I figure once I get enough of them, i will move this to the recipee section
  8. I realize that most members are boat fisherman. Most of the fishing I do is in the Lower Niagara river and I use roe often. I was curios if any one fished with roe, and if you do what method do you use to cure it.
  9. Hard to tell whos more comfy. You or the pups!
  10. Rebuilding the motor will not correct your backfire. I don't know what ignition system your engine is equipped with, but it sounds as if you have an intermittent ign system problem. Shoot me some more details and we will sort it out.
  11. See. Now thats a nice fish!
  12. Welcome to the site Kevin. If you need anything just ask.

  14. You can also gat parts such as spark plugs, filters and some gaskets from your local ac/delco parts store. Just give them the part numbers. Usually you will save a significant amount of coin.
  15. Just a little extra... WD-40 stands for "Water Displacement, 40th attempt" Main ingredients, from the material safety data sheet, are: 50%: Stoddard solvent (mineral spirits, somewhat similar to, but not the same as, kerosene) 25%: Liquefied petroleum gas (presumably as a propellant, carbon dioxide is used now to reduce considerable flammability) 15+%: Mineral oil (light lubricating oil) 10-%: Inert ingredients
  16. Frank Without getting into a huge technical debate. Wd-40 is a penetrating lubricant and a cleaner. You already knew this. It does everything you have stated and 1 thing you have not. The problem is the cleaning action. Briefly: a cylinder wall is not smooth, to the human eye it is, but it is not. Oil fills the microscopic crevices. When you coat the cylinder with wd-40, you remove the oil from the crevices. After sitting for awhile you do not have the proper lubrication at start up. That is why I prefer the proper fogging chemicals. Mike
  17. Frank. Why would you use wd40 to fog, when there are proper products on the market that are superior?
  18. Unless you r Canadian, as we do not use zip codes.

Your mom did a nice job on the costumes. Where did the kids go trick or treating, since in your neighborhood the houses are about a mile apart.

  23. Generally a sulphur smell from the exhaust is caused by a lean air/fuel ratio. Another cause could simply be the fuel itself. Different manufacturers of fuel have different sulphur content in there fuel. Burn up what you have in the tanks first, and see what happens.
  24. Did you tune the antenna with a SWR meter. It is important that the coax is the correct length.. found a link that might help. http://electronics.howstuffworks.com/question490.htm
