Fishing is still strong out of muskegon. The wife kids and I went 4 for 9 tonight from 8:30 till dark 130 fow to 160 fow was good 55 and 60 down on riggers with flounder pounder and happy meal moonshine and 160 back on wire at 2.5 setting blue glow f/c fly combo. The temp was 46 to 48 60 down. There was a lot of traffic out there so be careful and good luck.

Is it you using your camera to magnify a down a fishes throat to find your phone?

If you already have the rods and they are not dipsey rods I would set 2 up with core and 1 with mono and get a couple pound balls to get down deep without the long lead.

Yes I had to toss some back, It was hard because they were good sized the good part is the netting solo part made it easy to toss them back. -

Way to stack um Phil and crew. -
I went out solo this morning ending 7 for 12 2 coho and 5 kings, farming 2 kings. Moonshine bloody nose 45 down on rigger and took 3 fish, Dreamweaver purple easter egg 32 down on rigger took 2 fish, Stinger mixed veggie on 5 color took 2 fish. I lost 2 fish netting myself and 1 fish came unbuttoned the rod holder lost 2 during double's. No fish till 5:15 and had lines pulled at 7:30. My best fishing was 90 to 110 just a hair north of the channel. There was a ton of boats in 50 to 70 fow with what souned like mixed results.

Thank you to Rich and everyone involved in putting this together. Thank you Dreamweaver for putting together another great lure package. We had bites on every lure. We never made it past 60 fow and never more than 2 miles north or south of the pier. Our big fish that weighed 20 pounds came on the purple easter egg at about 8 am in 50 fow right in front of the channel on an 8 color. Our other fish came on riggers and full cores with one on the dipsey 100ft back on 3 with the white spinnie glow fly after that our dipsey's were dead.

We were out today also, it was very nice 1 to 3 foot we had a box by 10 am with nice fish. -
Fishing is tough, Waves are huge 5 to 7 foot this am and it makes for a lot of tangles hopefully things calm down for the weekend but it is not looking good. Hopefully if any body makes it out they put safety first. Good luck.

Fished from 5 am till 8 am and could not take the wave anymore we had 1 knock off at 75fow on a rigger 30down at 5:30 when we turned east not another until we turned back from 50fow and got to 115 and got 4 in the boat 3 on riggers 54 down 1 which was on a slider nbk and one on a dipsey 125 back on a blue fishcatcer and blue bug eye fly. The rest were on moonshine spoons. So we ended 4 for 6. The water temp was 59 to 61 on the surface. The waves were 3 to 5 footers and building so it was a good time to call it a day. Just a little to big for the 15 footer

The down speed for us on sunday was about 2 mph slower on a NW troll as compared to a GPS speed and our temp was 67 on top and as low as 41 76 down. That is a very valuable piece of gear. Glad to see the boy got to real one in. -

As of last tuesday harbor town on the west end of the lake had gas for $3.10 a gallon but that was last years gas and it was being sold for last years prices. So if they did not fill there tank yet you might get lucky. Great lakes marina just filled theirs last week but before that it was around $3.60.
