we fished yesterday after work till dark out front crane creek 1 short of our 5 man limit jigging came in in four footers hopefully it is nice sat going to take a break from jigging and try for some big ones trolling

wind finally let up and got back out sun am headed back to L can on the west end out from davis besse power plant were we fished last weekend one of the guys in the boat asked do you really think there in the same spot i told him that i told the fish to stay there till i got back and they did had our 3 man limit in no time jigging purple and black hair jigs this has been a great spring jig bite here not sure how much longer it will last joined this site for all the great salmon info but if anyone at all ever is comming my way to fish for walleye or perch feel free to get ahold of me and i will help you out anyway i can thanks todd

hello everyone my name is todd long i live in pemberville OH about 40 min from lake erie grew up on lake erie in port clinton at our trailer were we spend all are weekends only been running trips for a couple of years now on the west end but have been walleye and pech fishing all my life trailer my smaller boat to olcott ny manistee mi and weatley ont to salmon fish

3/24 and 3/25 fished just south east of L can limit both days purple and black hair jigs yellow took a few also seen alots of fish netted there on other boats also was a good weekend just a little foggy.

i bought 4 okuma cv55 reels to add some 45# copper rigs to my set up but they are not levelwind is it a big pain to guide the the line and fight a fish or do you get used to it will only use them about 4 times a year just a part time salmon guy

went out after work today left dock at 5 fished off of crane creek again 12ft of water black and purple hair jigs started out slow fish turned on about 7 worked one little area with short drifts got our last fish four a 5 man limit at dark weather and lake conditions has been great for this time of year

fished saturday on cone reef 24ft of water 4 man limit purple and black hair jigs water was very clear sunday fished off crane creek 11ft of water 3 man limit purple and black again all nice size fish lots of boats seen lots of fish netted was a great weekend on the lake
