    Thanks for the help .next question is what color of flys should I make .I'm new to this don't want to get the wrong color mylar .trying to keep cost down

    been reading the posts about making flys,i'm going to give it a try.cant find the supplys to get started.can someone recommend a good website/company to get the mylar from.

    i could not agree more sherman i've never had a bad trip to cabelas,on the other hand the first thing the dear wife wants to do is carry the credit card i dont think she trusts me!

    thanks for the reply supertramp the model # will help greatly,picked up rods last yr for walleye fishing i guested on the number and of course i was wrong .had to drive back to cabelas on my next weekend off to exchange them,which is always a bad thing according to my dear wife!

    thanks for the reply i've been looking for a 6hp 4 stroke for my boat and just ran across a 5.was'nt sure if the 5hp would do the job.

    i have a chance to get a 5hp merc.to use as a kicker for my 17.5 lund,will be used mainly for walleye will this motor be a good option or should i look for a larger motor?

    jimcr that is one nice looking boat, great setup!what bases are your down riggers sitting on in pic two.i'm in need of a couple pedestal bases trying to find some good ones,also trying not to break the bank. thanks

    gander mtn in flint mi had them on clearance for the $75.00 each, i bought two. also picked up two big jon capt'n pack silver manual downriggers for $124.00 each.i keep telling the wife that i'm saving money by getting everything on clearance.so far it's working! p.s: to danthebuilder yes those.

    they are triple's also they do swivel, they are permanent mount, but can be removed from it's base for storage.
