very nice box of fish

fished the gh pier sat and sun lots of bait around both days actually i think there was to much bait sat because most of the fish caught were in closer i was on the end hoping that the fish would find my alwive better than the thousands that were swimming around did manage 2 for 8 sat one nice king and a coho needless to say i missed the other ones they were coming in pairs get one on then the other rods would go sun was alot slower only seen about 5 fish caught nice weekend though

ed sais it all buy a cast netand just watch the water temps any time the big lake rolls over there is usally some fish aroun did alright of gh pier sat going 2 for 8 king about 15to 18 pounds and a coho lost a few other those were on alwives today was alittle slower in summer if the water gets to i like at least 60 the summer runs usally show up and yes bring some shrimp i do alot of night fishing just use some glow sticks on your rod also a varity of glow spoons they really like em at times you can look at the web cam on the gh steelheaders site watch the pier boats close and people fishing usally means some fish around plus they have water temps very helpful saves me some gas to find out good luck to and welcome

fished the north piier the current was so bad on lake side you couldnt keep your line from getting all twisted up so fished the channel my buddie managed one brown only bit on the pier not very good didnt see any boats hook uo eathier back to the river sun

warm weather has brought some fish along with lots of people havent reported much to busy fishing heres the run down the last 2 months have been good for bobbers and yarn have done most of the damage its simple but very effective once you find the color they want not as messy as spawn, wobble glows have done there work to was enjoying most of it to myself until this week from jan 1st till now around 70 lost at least double that so it was good burl:lol:y my standards,time to hit the piers now . frist of all thks to number guy for telling me about the ice on musk he was right so we fished snug harbor in morn not much happing bunch of little guys did manage half dozen nice perch had lunch and went heratage landing threw out some tip ups missed to flags kept seeing big fish come in on vexlar so started jigging a jiging rap after a few misses did manage one eye not bad for frist time trying. sun fished the grand in morn went 1 for 3 in a couple hours still the same bobbers and egg flies mostly winter fish still waiting on some freash fish soon i hpoe 6th stret is wadeable for people that are strong waders but please be carful spring is getting closer yeah

gonna give the steelhead a break this weekend heading to muskegon lake to try for some walleyes never tried for them threw the ice looking for advice on a couple go to lures to use many options out there dont want to buy the whole store to find somthing that works any advice would be great thanks

fished muskegon lake this morn with a my best friend neve ice fished it so we started in snug harbor not much is happing there a few little perch and gills checked out 2nd street they were getting a few eyes and pike buddie was cold so we went to heritage landing threw out some tips sat in cargot my buddie his frist pike on a tip up.have a better plan for next sat always check to make sure your finder is charged lol save some frustration

the river finally cleared of ice for a couple of days fishing hasnt been as good as i thought it would be after the high water but there are some fish to be had the water has some nice color to it bobbers and egg flies have been working fine love the new uv yarn.have a question anybody familar with american tackle rod blanks in the matrix series looking for any input

fished for a couple hours sat went 3for 3 and sun for a couple hours went 1 for 1 all the fish came on the the new uv yarn fish in a egg patern under a bobber dont know if its just luck or what but that uv yarn is making a beleiver out of me mylast 7 fish have come using it,starting to see some new fish show up and i was fishing 6th street will post pics later
