im looking for any help never took my boat below 6th street i want to put in at johnson park and go up looking for steel any help would be great is there any trouble spots i need to look out for and so on do you just fish the holes and runs i fish the damn and out of my boat by the rouge and do alright would like to get them before they get that far any help would be thankful:no:

fished out of the boat this morn above 6th street went 3 for 6 you gotta love this steelhead weather cant get back out till sun there should be more fish around by then hopefully alot of the leaves will disapear easyier backtrolling when there gone

well fishing was a little slow this morning went 4 for 7 the productive spot still produced but not like the last few days buyt that is fishing it was real slow for most the bite didnt last very long either dont know if the pressure is not right or what but didnt get skunked like most i saw also know how good you are at wading i was reminded this morn that it can happen to any one yes i went swimming not fun good thing live close to home changed clothes and back at it by five im alwaly telling my buddey who is new to the damn be carfull well he got a good chuckle:no:

great morning of fishing nice to see some cloud cover went 7 for lost count of how many bobbers and spawn all steel all released best moring yet got the boat getting a new water pump today hopefully have back soon.the steel seem to be very congregated in small areas only a couple of us did well faster water seem to be the ticket im only fishing 4 foot deep get out and get some chrome

went 7 fo 11 this morn in just 4 hours of fishing didnt get bit of skien swithched to sac it was on 6 steel 1 king we need more rain someone do a rain dance

went 3 for 4 this morn skien and bobbers 2 steel and 1 mamma king the bite dont last long with sunney skies,gotta love the look on peoples faces when you let the steel go for another day why you do that they ask cath them again another day fun morning gonna try the boat sat might be a little early but tired of wading get out and get some

went 1 for 5 sat morn the cohos are gone with the last rain but i think the main run of kings is here thats mainly all i saw only a couple steel hookedthem half dead kings dont bite very well so i hoping some more steel will follow

with the rain comes the steel good moring of fishing got schooled by a couple of chromers alwats fun love this time of year

yes there hasnt been very many kings yet its been mostly cohos with a few steel thrown in i havent caught a king down there yet last week there were a few browns around but havent seen any this week be back at it tomorrow

fished the last two morns at the dam the coho are starting to thin out but more steel are starting to show yesterday was better than today 20 bites on bobber with circle hook hooked up on only 4 today no circle hook 4 bites 2 fish needless to say i wont use the circle any more water is to clear like it a little stained come on heavy rain.

the steelhead should show up at the piers pretty soon i would think got some good rain coming tonight that should help

today i remembered why i fish the river during the week my buddey came up he ended the moring with 2 female browns and 2 female cohos me skunked thats what hapennens when you tell them where to fish its was fun till morn then it got crazy was out by 830am does any one use circle hooks for salmon and steel with skien have been tring it and missing alot of fish whats the best way to hook the fish tried just tighting down on them dont seem to hook good enough tried setting the hook a little not much different tring to get less swaloaded hooks any info would help thanks

well there is finaally good numbers at 6 th street fished this morning ended up with 6 some steel showed up also skien worked good with a wobble glow get out and get um

a couple more weeks mid oct is when i start in my boat ill keep posting we will get together and fish some time

me and your brother slammed tues night up nort landed 13 out of lost count around 30

when is na good time to hit the pier for steelies im usally in the river never tried it want to this year have pentyly of bait

i know it would of been alot better you been getting any fish lately
