I use these with good results, bought them at the Outdoorsman in Jenison for $5/6. I think I get better hook ups with them. what they look like attatched:

Started in 80 fow didn't mark anything out to 120. Heard on the radio that fish were being caught in 50 fow in PS, so we moved in. Right away started getting releases. Landed 2 kings, one was small, other was a 16 pounder that put on quite a show. Lost 3 others, one to a break off and 2 unbuttoned. Hot colors were gold and purple. We fished between 45' and 35' down with dipsy's being the best.

Got out late, started at 120 fow at about 10:00 am, picked up a laker on a chrome dipsy set at 3, 120' back, buffalo bill SS spoon at about 10:30. Picked up a nice steelie on same set up at about 11:00. Both were in 130' of water. Wish we could've stayed longer, had to come in for a wedding this afternoon 2/2

I've been fishing out of GH when I can, and the fish have been real spotty. Usually catch one, sometimes two, but haven't been lighting it up that's for sure. Nothing huge either, but I've been chalking it up to inexperience

I've been lurking on this site for awhile now and just love all the friendly information it has. I just started big lake fishing this year with my boat, although I have fished it for years with friends. Sure is different when you're the one making the decisions Hopefully I won't be skunked too often
