Not at all, but I could wish, I am only 43! Mason (Mushy) my 8 year old, 2 of my daughters Sarah 20 and Crystal 18 came up with these. The eggs look much better than the picture. I cant believe they came up with a monkey puke egg, it is near perfect. Here is a little better shot of them. I tool out some of the pink hue. The picture still does not do the eggs justic.

Have a safe and Happy Easter ! My kids were dyeing the eggs this afternoon. The 00 orange dodge egg is pulling a peanut fly that is barely visible under the GLF stamp.

Same price on this side of the pond. Plus the tip too. My cost for my 17.5' out of oshkosh was right at 100.00 per trip just in gas, ice and launch fee. No upkeep, no insurance, no boat payment, no advertising, no slip fee, no tackle, or storage. Kinda makes your head spin and the wallet thin just thinking about it. The big boats can really eat the gas when they gotta go deep. I have never run one or booked one but IMHO I think those guys just love to share the fishing experience not money.

If you run that knot tight without lube, the floro will get really weak right at the knot. It must overheat the line. I broke a 30lb leader in my bare hands with little pressure, after I forgot to lube it. And no I am not a steelworker, I sit at a desk with a phone and a computer all day.

No stupid questions here, we all learn for each other. Take a close look at the three rods. The first (left) one is the dipsey diver. The second rod has 2 blue tie wraps on it and the third rod has 5 orange tie wraps on it (just above the foam rod handles). This is my way of coding the rods for lead core colors/lenght. You should also be able to see the planer boards directly above the corner of the boat. That is the boards for the 2 and 5 colors lead cores. Again look at the slight angle differences (both horizontal and vertical) on the 2 and 5 color rods, this helps keeping the lines apart near the boat. Rod trees do the same basic thing but they dont take up as much room. One last point. IF your boards are running true and the rods are set to the same basic angle. the boards will line up on a 45 degree angle off the back of the boat. If you let the inside boards line out, the two boards will track right into one another. Watching this angle is a really good way to tell if you are dragging something. garbage, weeds, a bag, a shaker, or the line is tangled. Hope this helps!

Agreed. That was the 3rd knot I taught to my cub scout den! 1 Keep the line lubed 2 Try to pull the knot in one fluid motion 3 Use a needle nosed pliers on the tag end of the line to finish the knot This should help minimize the difficulties.

Not at all. The explanation from the biologist... sometime the salmon will skip a year or two, even a rare third year skip. So this guy would have been 5,6, or even 7 years old. The pacific strand is classified as the gigantic. And this one is Giganticer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gciFoEbOA8

2008 Biologist Doug Killam discovered this angler's dream during a survey of salmon that had recently spawned in Battle Creek, California. "I have counted tens of thousands of salmon during my career, and this is the biggest I have ever seen." The biologist count the post spawn dead fish to estimate fish populations. From the article it was estimated at 85 lbs or so. Imagine the battle this one would have been!!! I found this here scienceblogs.com/zooillogix/2008

I really like the ram tubes for the big pond. The ram rods are better suited for walleye trolling, they leave too much of the rod butt it the boat.

John, "Four electric Walker downriggers, things the previous owner called sideplaners, and what are possibly downplaners, up-planers and just plain planers. " NICE!! I was dang near in tears while I was reading this. LMBO Like the Sherm said....You could really benifit with a visit with one of the other fisherman in your area. Either on his boat or yours, hell... both if you got the time. Another thing you may want to do is a ride along with someone on their rig then on yours too. Just be willing to share in the trip expenses if going on someone else rig, and visa versa. You know you have a fairly good grasp on this stuff once you understand the SWR!! (and no I am not telling you yet) Keep up the great sense of humor ! And I am looking forward to your first fishing report. Best of luck to you!

Jay, Get well real soon. The best medicine you can have is being home with the dog and family. Regards, Tom
