The Sheboygan Area Great Lakes Sport Fishermen club is having its 10th annual Fishermen's Swap Meet this Saturday March 24, 2012. It will again be held at South Alliance Church located at 4321 County Tk A East (just South of Home Depot on frontage road). Doors open to the public at 9:00 am and the event runs until 1:00 pm. No early sales before 9:00 am. Thousands of fishing and outdoor bargains, refreshments and raffles. Cost is only $2 admission for adults and kids (15 and under) are free. Aaron, what about making your own? Get a bucket of plasi-dip. Just be careful the stuff is addictive soon you will be dipping every thing in this stuff. Just dont dip the kid or the dog!

Jim, Thanks for the link. That looks down right nasty. I have fished out of MLK a few times with my cousin. Correct me if I am wrong here but I am fairly certain that you cannot see over the sea walls, they are 7 or 8' feet out of the water. The waves were just rolling right over them. nice clip!

Brother in law Jay and I got a late start but we were on the water by 9 and fished until 3. End up with two nice Walters. Lots of fish being caught right now. From what I could see most every one was using jigs and emerald shiners. The river is just packed with boats. We were in a pack of up to 50 boats drifting a 1/2 mile bend. No issues everyone played nice for the most part. An absolutly beautiful day to be fishing! I took a few pictures of the organized chaos, enjoy!

I have not seen any of the videos. send or post link of that. That would be wild to stay out there when a big storm rolled through.

Just imagine if you had a few too many one night the first step off the pier would be a hell of a suprise!

Brian and Don are 110% correct. Choose your college and career wisely, find a field you will enjoy, good pay, good hours, and has a great employablity. Money can't buy happeness but it sure can buy a lot of toys to get you there!!!

65lb is way plenty. First run some mono backer on the reel like 300 yards then top it off with the braid 150 yards, depending on line capacity. Now you can get two dipsy rods out of one 300 yard pack of braid and the mono backer keeps the braid from slipping on the spool. I use the green colored spider braid. Not really sure if there is one color better that the other. Thats how I set mine up.

The boat gets unpacked out of the garage this weekend. I got the darn thing jammed in there like a bad game of tetris!!! Then down to Milwaukee for some Browns on the 17th, hopefully!

I see that Calumet Marine has the X4 and is one of the lowest prices. Thanks for everyone's input. Very helpful ! If you could do one more favor and help talk my wife into letting me purchase the X4, that would be greatly appreciated !
