About the same report for us. We did well on 3 and 4 color on all Orange kinds of DW SS. We ended a three day trip 27 for 31. Blue and mt. Dew spin doc meat rigs took fish 70 and 80 down, but most action was on cores. Good luck, Casey

Fishing right now is very good. The fish are in the 79 to 120 water early then 250 to 350 later.59 to 60 down on the shelf and 100 to 115 down out deep. Meat rigs behind paddles and spin doctors. It didn't really matter what color, but blue sd and blue meat rig and black paddle with silver meat rig was best for us. Happy meal moonshine, flounder plunder and bloody node. Carnal dolphin and acid rain spoon took fish. Played around in harbor for a little bit and did not mark very many fish. This wind probably dropped the cline deeper but I suspect the fish are still in same D.o.w. The next good wind will push a lot of fish in close. They are ready just waiting for right conditions. Found fish on 8/1 in the 17's wire divers back 180 with moonshine Mongolian beef and flounder pounded. Gray ghost looking j plug on 300 copper. Weather was no good on 8/2 or 8/3 8/4 was a searching mission and found that the fish moved in shallow 3-6 copper riggers 20 to 40 down divers 100 back started producing today in 60 to 80 feet of water. Moonshine at dusk/dawn then yellow tail mixed veggie, blue yellow dolphin in the light. Spinie did not go for us but did for friends in 135 feet of water. Headed to oscoda June 10-13 haven't fished there for about 10 years. Thinking of taking the boat and trying for some lakes. Any tips or am I wasting my time. Thanks, Casey
