  1. Nice work Frank!! Waiting in line????? You mean you don't have a V.I.P. pass for the launch. They don't wave you on through and tell others to move it or loose it LOL
  2. Tom - You just fishing friday? Or will you be up for the weekend?
  3. You got the life Frank! Retired with little to do other than fish. Where do I sign up? Could I just retire now???? I could, but would probably catch hell from the lady. Nice work on the fish. Your reports should read.... Au Gres 6/22: See previous reports as not much has changed other than the day. Still whackin the walleye hard core... Just kidding. Nice work out there.
  4. Looks like a sweet fathers day to me! Can't wait for my daughter to take me fishing on fathers day...
  5. 2 man limit???? I bet you didn't spend enough time on the water only catching 10. At least it's not costing much in gas$$$$$$$$. Good work, I'll be looking to be back up next weekend.
  6. Now we are getting into uncharted waters. I was out last Friday. Started fishing @ 5pm, we were pulling fish the same as I would during the morning. Boxed 5 keepers, probably 6 throwbacks and then it started to get too bumpy and we went in to the docks. If you make it out let ujs know and good luck!
  7. Sweet, persistence pays off, way to stick with it!
  8. Nice. It is awesome out there right now. Keep on em'!
  9. Nice job Jay. I am starting to spend less time on the water when the waves are less then desirable. I just can't stand to get knocked around all day out there, it takes it's toll on you. Good job on the fish.
  10. Not only more fish, but they are of better size on average. With the amount of sublegal i've been tossing back everytime we look to be in good shape for a while. Had one this weekend followed by this statement"wow, we caught a perch on one of your spoons". That was no perch, just a very nice 10" walleye. Throwing back at least 6-15/trip.
  11. Here's a picture of Saturdays 15, couldn't fit them all on the board, but I assure you they are all there.
  12. It was an awesome weekend in Au Gres. Weather was great, fishing was good and company was top notch. 6/12 - Fished the evening for a little while, until it started blowing and the waves were kicking up. We boated 12 fish in little over an hour, only 5 were keeper size. 6/13 - Left the dock around 7am. Went south to the point and setup on a southerly troll. Started picking away at the walleye soon after sitting down. It was not fast and furious but we managed our 3 man limit, I want to stress that we actually worked for these fish. Almost seemed like the last 3 took 2 hours to get??????? 29-33 fow. 6/14 - I usually don't feel the need to leave the dock walleye fishing too early. Up @ 5am and setting lines by 6:30. Started in on the fish pretty quick. Done fishing with our 3 man by 9:30. 1 jet 20 100' of line stinger scorpion 2 jet 30 100' of line stinger scorpion 2 downriggers 3, 4 & 5 color leadcore. Jet divers seemed to do better then the lead this weekend, not by much. Stevie wonder, rainbow trout, emerald(green) shiner, fire dot, yellow tux, wonderbread, chicken wing, buckeye and a few others. All stinger scorpions except yellow tux. Threw on a few northport nailer size 100 in purple and got fish on that too, along with NPN Key lime pie. Speed 1.6 -2.4 gos. Each day we boated several undersized fish! Also hit about a 10# sheep today. First junk fish I've caught in the past 2 years out of Au Gres.
  13. Nice job on the fish!!!!!! It was an awesome weekend out there!
  14. I keep teasing my wife, that when she is due I may be too busy fishing to be in the DR. Probably wouldn't be the smartest thing to do.....Good luck to you this weekend, hope for a healthy baby and mommy!
  15. OH YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! That is great Frank.
  16. I run a lot of stinger scorpions on Saginaw Bay. Seems like I am usually between 1.4-2.2 sog. I would say to play with the speed a little bit. You will quickly find out where they like it at. If they stop biting then you maybe going to fast.... And no, I don't drag harnesses behind spoons. I just run them clean!
  17. Nice work. Only a couple more months to go eh? I took my wife, who is 7 months out with my 21month old Ashley on Memorial day. Was nice an calm out there. Got a few rods out, no fish. It was more work with Ashley on the boat, I could not drive, set rods, net fish all at the same time. I'm trying to get as much fishing in b4 the next one comes, as I have a feeling it is going to shut me down for a while. Great to see your lady out fishing with you with her belly being full;)
  18. Great report, good fishing and love the pictures. Talked with a friend downriver who fishes Erie too. He also said that Ohio was great fishing right now. Way to hammer em'!
  19. Sweet. Just think, the water is still cool, and will warm up and as it warms the fishing should heat up....I'll be up next weekend too, maybe we'll see you out there. Good luck
  20. Here's a pic my buddy re-sized for me
  21. Fishing was excellent out of Au Gres today. Had my father, bro in law and good friend out there today. Went south to pt au gres, set up in 30fow and trolled south. Only ran spoons today, majority stinger scorpions. 3,4 & 5 colors of lead, jet diver 30 100' back and one tight to the bottom with a downrigger. Went 23 for 25, and we kept our 4 man limit, one undersized and a double header at the end. The spoons I ran were Stevie wonder, emerald shiner, buckeye, fire dot, OPS & wonderbread. Had 3 double headers, 1 triple header. Punched our 4 man ticket in just under 2.5hrs.
  22. You there for the whole weekend?
  23. Those look a little nicer too! Good job
  24. I'll look for the link here in minute, but I saw some rental house for a reasonable rate right near the water. The Holiday in is right on the water and within walking distance to the bars. Also took my lady up there last weekend for the day, ate dinner at a place called Augies, not much to look at, but the perch was awesome. http://nmi.craigslist.org/vac/1201943995.html http://www.greatrentals.com/rental-property/p242165
