  1. Nice job Tom. I know it's been a while since you last went. How was that dinner? Just finished mowing and whipping the yard, looks pretty refreshing from where I'm sitting:D
  2. Great report, appreciate the detail! Excellent job on the fish!!!! :D:D:D
  3. 90*, wow that is warm. Nice job Dan. Casting for them eh???? Little different approach then the usual!!!! Whatever it takes. Nice to be able to attack them in different ways to get them.
  4. A lot of knowledgable, good people on this site! You'll like it here. Give a shout if you need something, and someone will be willing...
  5. Nice. 3hr cruise and the gas guage never moved, it must be broke:p
  6. Whatever it takes to keep those monsters out of our waters. I had a feeling that regardless of the measures taken to stop these things that it was going to be one heck of an effort to keep em out. For all they really know there could already be some lurking in the great lakes. Best bet is to try and nip this one in the butt before it becomes a massive problem, which, from the sounds of things they will be once they enter our great lakes.
  7. Oh boy
  8. Mike there were 2 fish, one @ 21.6" & the other @ 20.4". I guestimated the length and was off just a tad. The one that was tagged 4 years ago didn't grow much if any.
  9. Sweet! you are killing me with these great reports, nice job
  10. Interesting indeed. I thought both would have been recently tagged, I was surprised to find the one was tagged 4 years prior. That is a good thing as far as I'm concerned. Those are the only tagged fish I've ever caught.
  11. I finally got around to filling out the form about the 2 tagged walleye I caught on the walleye opener on the tittabawasee river. Here's the correspondence from the DNR: #1 - Michigan fisheries personnel tagged your fish on 4/08/05 at Dow Dam on the Tittabawassee River. It was a 20.6" male when tagged. You caught it 1,478 days after its release. 2# - Michigan fisheries personnel tagged your fish on 3/30/2009 at Dow Dam on the Tittabawassee River. It was a 21.4" male when tagged. you caught it 26 days after its release. Now I didn't have exact measurements on this, only a 15" walleye measurer and guessed both fish to be between 19-21", so I was close. I want to note again, that this years walleye opener on the river was some of the best fishing our group had on opening day. For me personally it was over early and should have just went home. I trolled a firetiger hot n tot 20-30' and picked up my limit in a little over 1/2 hour.
  12. Tom that looks awesome. The one you are holding looks like a real brute~ From the picture it looks better then 14#. Way to go:thumb:
  13. Boy Frank, I may have to stop reading your posts. It's been a couple of weeks since I've been out, and starting to twitch, and it's getting worse when I see that the fish are there!!!! Nice job Buddy!!!!!!
  14. Isn't that typical, catching fish and for whatever reason you have to stop fishing.... Nice job on the fish. From the few reports that I have been reading sounds like the eyes are starting to pick back up! Nice!1!
  15. Sweet Frank. I thought things were slowing down a bit, but from the looks of your catch maybe they're turning around. Nice job J
