  1. I know there are fish there. Stopped by the cleaning station last Saturday, Creel guy told me about 50 salmon/coho/steelhead/ lake trout that he documented that day. They're around there somewhere.....
  2. Nice job Adam. Is the oil hot and ready for the fish to be dropped in? Those eyes look delicious!
  3. Nice job Turbo. Stay on em!
  4. Nice job Bomber! I assume you were running spinners behind the CU also? I haven't even broke out the lead this year, and am thinking of putting together some CU for next year. Keep kicking @$$ and taking names:thumb:
  5. Ideally I would go with all of the above. I bought 300' of CU and spooled up a 125 and 175. They both produced very well for me. This summer I'm going to add a 300 and after that a 450, it's a sickness and just doesn't seem to stop
  6. I do the water thing. However, will be upgrading shortly to a vacuum sealer
  7. Nice job Kitchen! you got a good thing going. Keep on em!
  8. By no means do I think that you deserved what you got. However, I just think the probability for trouble is higher with a store as such. Good to hear everything is working out! Good luck
  9. These stores, IMO, are not places that, if I were in the market for a new boat, I would consider purchasing a boat from to begin with. It's just not their thing period. Then throw in the big "corporate" procedures and such, it's just a recipe for disaster. There are plenty of boat dealers, and that's their core business, that could take care of you without incident. Customer service is poor no matter where you go, the good thing as a consumer, you make the choice to buy or not, and from the sounds of things will be your last purchase at a large retailer as such.
  10. Keep monkeying with that recipe and those eyes will tell you when it's good, then duplicate.
  11. Thanks P1! It was a ball. Hope you are on the mend and things are going as good as they can for you! Hope to see you on the water soon!
  12. Sounds like a great trip
  13. It was a fun tourny for sure. The wave conditions were not what we were hoping for, but we stuck it out. Will this tourny fall on father's day next year?
  14. Wish you were able to make it for this Turbo. We had a ball. Between the great fishing and good times it was a hoot! Here's Friday's catch. Not sure how we didn't manage to snap a pic of Saturdays...also I learned something. I see guys dumping fish on their floors and taking pics, looks cool I think, the only problem is, not so good on carpet. Must not be so bad on fiberglass But she's all scrubbed down now and odor free. These stinky fish sure taste good
  15. Put a crew together for the tournament out of Au Gres this weekend. Was lucky to have everyone able to take the day off and fish on Friday together. Didn't take long and we had fish going. Straight out, 35FOW. We had a lot of bites on Friday and a nice bag of fish. 2oz inlines 20-45' back was working best, purples & perch stood out. Bouncers were quiet. We took our 20 and headed in early. Saturday's shotgun start we ran right out to the same spot from Friday. Had 7 in the box by 7am. Wind kicked up and the fishing slowed down. Ran north up toward Gravely Shoals, put the waves at the stern and drifted with them. Drifted toward the area we got the 7, and within 10 minutes had 13. Messed around for a while trying to upgrade, but no such luck. We ended up just out of the money, but had a great time regardless. I'll post a pic of Friday's fish later. Wind had kicked up on Saturday pretty good, with waves anywhere from 3' - 6', it was a bumpy ride in. Looking forward to this event next year!
  16. Very cool Adam! We salute you
  17. Just love the sleepy port of Onekama. Nice to have all that water to your self! Nice job on the fish. Keep on em
  18. There you go Frank! Good luck with the shoulder, hope you're crankin in the eyes soon!
  19. Finally made it out to the bay for some fishing. After keeping an eye on the ever changing forecast for the weekend and 2nd guessing whether or not to fish, we did and ended up with one heck of day on the water. We were rained on briefly in the AM, but not long and without lightning. Messed around in one spot for a little bit with only short fish around. Got a phone call from a friend, said get to the area they were in. We did, and the fish were there. We worked for them, but got em. I was able to put together a good harness program and take a 3 man limit on Saturday. Went to the same spot on Sunday and was not as productive. NO where near as many marks on the graph, but we pulled 4 keepers there, a few throw backs and lost another one at the back of the boat. Can't wait to heat up the skillet!
  20. I just hooked up the quick connect EZ Steer on mine! And can not wait to give it a whirl. Pretty simple design, the quick connect is going to be sweet and for the $$$$, I couldn't resist.
  21. It is always easier to spend someone elses money, anything else we can help with?
  22. Hats off to all involved! Hope that this is something that the kids won't soon forget:thumb:
